Less than 30 minutes from Branson and Springfield, James River Hideout offers plenty of opportunities to "Live Slow" with the perfect blend of upscale comfort and outdoor adventure.   
  
Private river access and discounts to Float the James allows you to enjoy tubing, paddleboarding, or simply relaxing by the water, all at your own pace. For fishing enthusiasts, the James has ample opportunities to seasonally catch catfish, small and largemouth bass, white bass, northern rock bass, sunfish, and paddlefish. Nearby freshwater streams and hatcheries also boast excellent trout fishing!  
  
Our air-conditioned cabins are thoughtfully designed to provide a cozy yet upscale retreat. Each cabin features:  
  
• Comfortable Sleeping Arrangements: Each of our 4 units has a Cal King and twin bunks in the loft and a twin daybed on the main level to accommodate families and couples, or book multiple units and host small groups.  
  
• Well-Equipped Kitchenette, Shared Picnic & Grilling Space: Each unit has a full size fridge with ice maker, microwave, air fryer, and utensils; while the shared grilling space features a gas grill, Traeger pellet grill/smoker, Blackstone griddle, and tables.   
  
• Modern Bathroom Facilities: The lower level of each cabin has a fully tiled large walk-in shower with on-demand hot water, vanity and toilet. Upstairs you'll find a half bath, ensuring convenience during your stay.  
  
• Patio Furniture: Perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxation.  
  
• Stylish Interiors: Blending rustic charm with modern amenities.  
  
• Climate Control: Two individually controlled mini split units, one on each level, offer heating and A/C to keep you comfortable.   
  
The 4 separate "shabins" have exterior entrances and can be booked individually or as a group.
