This was the perfect home for our family get away! The home clean and inviting! The guys loved watching golf from the back porch. My kiddos loved the pool and rec room that are accessible with the home rental. We just had the best time and we can’t wait to come back!!!

Girls Trip

It was a comfy and beautiful place to stay for our girls trip. We had 8 people in total for this trip and there was more than enough room for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked and everything worked! The back yard was cozy and we had the additional highlight of the same two turkeys greeting us in the morning. We were walking distance from the hot air balloon festival and a quick drive to downtown Galena for the wine festival! Everything was clean, honestly wouldn’t mind booking again for another mini trip!

Beautiful home away from home.

First time staying at this property, but hopefully not the last. The house itself is lovely, well decorated and well equipped both inside and out. But the landscaping and views are beyond. Even with the hot weekend weather, we were still able to enjoy the outside quite a bit. The stars and setting were just beautiful. Easy short ride to historic downtown Galena (less than 15 minutes). We highly suggest the Downtown Galena Food & Drink Tour with Marissa. Our hostess, Sandy was always quick to reply to any questions we had. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We hope to be back.

Lovely home and gardens

The home is spacious and well furnished to comfortably accommodate my family of seven; truly felt like home. The gardens around the house were so beautiful that we opted to host extended family for cook outs in the evening. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

The house is located in a very scenic and quiet area of the Galena territory. Our family enjoyed hanging out together at the house and outside around the fire pit. The house is fully stocked with everything you need for cooking.

Love this place!

Girlfriends Getaway

Myself and 4 girlfriends enjoyed a couple of nights at this beautiful property that is partly on a golf course. The grounds were gorgeous with mature trees and beautiful landscape. We enjoyed the patio, the deck and the screened porch. Kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. Plenty of space and super well cared for. We plan to come back if Sandra will have us. Sandra, by the way, is a great host and answered all of our extra questions. However, most of the info we needed she has organized and easy to get to.
