We so enjoyed this quiet place away from traffic but minutes from the New River Trail and downtown Galax. « We stayed for a family get together, the space was nice but for a larger group (7) the kitchen was small. We used paper plates and plasticware to keep down on dishes but there is only one outside trash can and with a larger group including an infant trash was taken out more often and accumulated quickly. Take notethere is no yard to walk your dog, we had our small dog and walked her up the road which wasn't a problem for us. Easy check-in and out. We would stay again, we loved the decks and...

« This place is truly a hidden gem. Tucked away in a peaceful setting but close to downtown Sparta! You can listen to the sounds of the river from the front porch. The place feels more like a cozy home instead of a house with everything you need for your stay. There is a great pavilion area set up nicely for gatherings.
