It's not far from the railway station in Tweedbank for trip to Edinburgh and some lovely places nearby like Melrose, Peebles and Kelso for independent shops and cafes. It is a cosy cottage with a comfy sofa and log burner and it was great to be able to sit out in the cottage garden with views of the forest and pretty flowers. Olly was very helpful and communication was very prompt. The Yair estate grounds are lovely and the location is handy for exploring all the pretty towns, country estates and castles in the area.
