With the very low price of this one night stay, I wasn't expecting to be blown away by service/amenities/room quality. The room was just fine, however the bathroom seemed to have a bit more wear than other hotels I've stayed at. Nevertheless, suited my needs perfectly.
Service was just about impeccable. Phone call to make sure everything was okay; follow-up phone call after a service request to ensure the issue was addressed satisfactorily; all housekeeping staff members greeted us, chatted, very polite. I've never experienced that before. Not a 5-star hotel but it was clean and met all our expectations considering the price. Our only complaint is that we had to keep the AC low (pretty chilly) to keep the humidity level in the room down. Aside from that, we definitely recommend this hotel.
The hotel is a little run down. We reported that the arm on the commode was rusted and broken so that our commode wouldn't flush and it was never addressed during our stay, luckily my husband was able to make it functional. The breakfast wasn't the greatest, but it was a place to lay out heads and that was what we were looking for...
I loved my stay. The hotel facility was just a bit old (elevator and hallways looked old). Everything else seemed as though it had been remodeled. And there was a lot of places to shop and eat very close by.
Clean, staffs were courteous and friendly. Love beds and linens which are big deal to me when it comes to comfort during my stay at any hotel. Appliances are new and functional. Overall room presentation makes me feel like at home not on a trip. Also, it is close to amenities such as shopping mall, restaurants, etc. not to mention very quiet although close to major roads. I will go back definitely when I get to visit MD again.
The hotel satisfied our needs on our recent trip to visit DC. We were out and about most of the time so
were not looking for too many amenities. The room was clean and the kitchen was functional. Each of
the bedrooms had a TV which was nice and the free Wi-Fi in the unit was a boon for my kids with their
ipads and laptops. I read a few complaints about train noise on other reviews but this turned out to be
minor (and actually sort of charming). The parking was ample and close to the room. Location wise,
its true what others said about being to far to walk to anywhere but the stores/markets were just 5 minutes
away by car and the freeway was easily accessible. Also, the staff were friendly and quite professional.
The only negatives were perhaps the 2 bdrm being a trifle small for our family and the beds a tad too soft
for those with back issues.
