Front desk staffs mostly do not speak English. The pocket electronic translation device did not work well. It took much effort to communicate with the staffs. Other than this, hotel is comfortable and nicely decorated. Clean rooms and perfect location.

What a unique property! It has a kind of minimalist, subdued, design-concept vibe while being quite comfortable and functional. Its location and the staff were fantastic!

This was our first time at a ryokan. The staff and facilities ensure a tranquil and relaxing visit. When one first checks in the guest is treating like royalty with beautiful robe (I cannot remember the correct robe), tea, and an explanation of the facilities. The room was an apartment. Lovely views, The onsen in the room and the view of mountains was luxurious and calming. The chef is a master. Although I do not eat most of the dishes, the chef prepares dishes so that I could eat. The steamed seabream was one of the most delicious meals I have ever had. There is a tea service available which is also quite nice. A short distance from the Onsen are trails through the mountains and around a lake.
