It is well positioned near the Forum and about a half hour walk into Funchal. It is a large apartment with good facilities and the pool was an added bonus. The only slight drawback was that the balcony was very small - not suitable for 3 adults in our case.There were two issues however during our stay. The heated towel rail was not working from the beginning; we received a prompt reply that it would be repaired but no-one appeared throughout the week. Also we were situated immediately next to a lift which made a loud, squeaky noise 24hrs. Again nothing seemed to be done about it - we don't know how the residents put up with it? ##### Malcolm W. Location is excellent very close to shopping walking distance to the city centre and bus service is nearby and excellent. We like the spaciousness of the property and it’s location on the edge of Funchal. The gardens are amazing and the outside areas are always clean and well presented. The residents are welcoming and respectful. As we stay for several weeks we like the fact that the apartment has laundry facilities. There are many very good restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
