He met us at the property and gave a very thorough description of all the amenities and features of the apartment. The property is very clean. It is in a quiet residential neighborhood. There is good bus service and the stop is literally next door. Bruno is very knowledgeable about local attractions and very quick to respond to any requests for information. No air-conditioning or central system but our weather over all 6 days was comfortable and didn’t need AC. But with the windows open, we did deal with mosquitoes because the weather has been hot and rainy right before our visit. There was one plug in insect repellent which works quite well. the breezes is passing through the house are fantastic. If we return, we would definitely rent Bruno’s apartment again. ##### Stella S. The walk up is not recommended in the heat but once we sussed the vagaries of the bus network it was not an issue. Bruno was very helpful and even sent some recommendations of restaurants etc on whatsapp before we arrived. He arranged a taxi from the airport and met us at the apartment. Although we didn't need to contact him while we were there he made it clear he'd be available if needed. He even let us stay in the apartment on the day we were leaving as our flight was quite late so we didn't have to worry about checking out or leaving our suitcase anywhere. It was very hot while we were there and the apartment is not air conditioned. Bruno may want to think about buying a fan for the apartment but i would have no hesitation in recommending the apartment and would stay here again. ##### Derek S. The living room has a big comfortable sofa and a great view to the harbour in the distance. As a bonus there is access to a large terrace with views to the sea and mountains and with the collapsible chairs provided we could relax in the sun with a glass of wine. Bruno is a most excellent host and was very helpful in arranging a taxi transfer from the airport with the advantage that the driver knew the apartment and called Bruno on our arrival so he was at the gate to the apartment to greet us. Bruno explained how everything worked and provided a most warm welcome. We found it easy to contact Bruno via WhatsApp before arriving and during our stay. We walked into town and occasionally enjoyed a coffee or orange juice at the café in the garden of the Museu da Quinta das Cruzes about half way down. The museum’s garden is very pleasant and has good views. We usually took a bus back using Google maps Go feature to show us the route, the nearest bus stop, the bus number and scheduled time. Being able to track our position along the bus route made it easy to know when to press the stop button and navigate back to the apartment. We had good lunches/meals at Restaurante dos Combatentes (corner of municipal gardens), Barreirinha Bar Café (good sea view, east of yellow fort), Museu da Quinta das Cruzes café, Restaurante Brasa (in a peaceful square) and others! ##### Jacqueline C. O apartamento serve perfeitamente para 4 pessoas e tem tudo o que necessita (desde máquina de lavar a secador), o sofá cama também é bastante confortável e dormem facilmente 2 pessoas lá. De gerant Bruno was bij aankomst heel enthousiast en behulpzaam om alle restaurants en bezienswaardigheden in de buurt door te geven en zei dat we hem op elk moment mochten contacteren voor wat dan ook. Echter toen we hem 's morgens op dag twee lieten weten dat de afloop van de douche ernstig verstopt zat hebben we van hem gedurende de hele vakantieperiode niks meer gehoord. L appartement est situé proche du centre dans les hauteurs, au calme avec vue sur la mer. Pour plus de confort il faut louer une voiture.
