Ground floor house with about 100m2, one bathroom with shower, fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, both with natural light and storage space - one with double bed and access to the terrace, the other with two single beds and window. In the living room there is a double sofa bed, which could suit larger families. The terrace offers a stupendous view over the sea and the port of Funchal, an area with outdoor shower, a dining area and portable barbeque. It is the most desirable room in the house, where you can enjoy reading, sunbathing, outdoor meals or simply enjoy the view and the sound of the sea. Maximum capacity for 4 people. Free access to all rooms of the house. Access to the house by two flights of steps down. Property with individual entrance, isolated from the other houses. Wi-Fi available in all areas of the house. Free parking available near the property. AREA The property is located in Lazareto, a few minutes away from downtown Funchal. It is a quiet area with easy access to the city centre, either on foot or by car. It is close to the Miradouro do Lazareto, Barreirinha beach, Forte de São Tiago, Funchal-Monte cable car, Mercado dos Lavradores, restaurants, bars, local shops and other services. In Funchal city centre there are several touristic points of interest and information about cultural activities, radical activities, nature related activities, whatever the purpose of your visit to Madeira Island. GETTING AROUND The best option to get to the property will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport. If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address. ACCESS TO PROPERTY You have access to all areas of the property. INTERACTION We are always available to help or answer questions. We do our best to reply all requests. We also have an app for guests with all the important information about the property and other useful information for your stay. OTHER OBSERVATIONS \- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (passport or identity card). \- Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If it is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours before, guests will be subject to the availability of our team. \- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also put a baby cot, a high chair and a baby bath if needed, but you should request. There are a first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket in the property. RULES We want you to feel at home. We do not ask for more than respect for neighbours and care for the property, in addition to not smoking inside the house. ATTENTION \-Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. In the heart of Funchal this little house by the sea was just amazing! It is a 30 minute walk down hill to Funchal town. The house itself was very clean and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The views were amazing as you are just above the sea and can watch the sunset from the front garden of the house. The area is very quiet at night so you can get a good nights sleep and the beds and pillows are very comfortable. Felt like we were at home. We were 6 adults so 2 of us had to use the sofa bed, which was also comfortable. The only downside would be the check-in time was 4pm and we landed at 9am to Madeira. There was no earlier check-in available. Also a few times the electrics cut out but we got it back on. I would deffinitly reccomend this place as it is very beautiful and a very comfortable stay! ##### Emine S. One shower towel per person-insufficient and there was charge for more. Patio chairs were horrendously stained along with the cushions on the loungers and therefore could not be used. We had to bring kitchen chairs outside to enjoy the patio. Patio had not been cleaned before check in. Furniture and appliances are needing repair/replacement. In some case a health hazard. Glass fronted cupboard containing delph wouldn’t open fully. Damp on wall in kitchen and paint peeling. These are just a few of the issues. Overall would not recommend at all. Oct 3, 2022 #### Perfect place to stay in Madeira Every morning, we were able to get up and have a wonderful view, drinking fresh coffee, which was priceless. Regarding the location, it was easy to commute to the city center and to other places across the whole island. The kitchen is big enough and contains everything you need in order to prepare breakfast and dinner or supper on your own. Our host was great! He gave us exact instructions regarding e.g., how to enter the place and where to leave the car. Whenever we had any questions or issues, it was really easy to get in touch with him. Aug 21, 2022 #### Amazing views, nice apartment and great hosts We had an amazing experience in Funchal. We tried to go the early checkin tryouts since our flight from Porto landed early. The host was nice enough to wait for us at the apartment, allow us to drop our luggage, gave our keys so we can explore the island while the apartment was getting cleaned. Secondly we locked ourself up one evening when we were enjoying the view, the host again drove over in less than 15 minutes to let us back in. Amazing.
