The fully equipped kitchen includes all the essentials to prepare home-cooked meals, such as a stove, oven, microwave, and the necessary cookware and cutlery. A washing machine, drying rack, and ironing equipment are also provided for your convenience.  
  
The bathroom offers all the amenities you’ll need to freshen up, including clean towels and complimentary toiletries.  
  
Step outside to enjoy a spacious terrace with a comfortable seating area and a barbecue—perfect for al fresco dining or simply relaxing after a day of exploring.  
  
For your comfort, the house is professionally cleaned before each stay.

Nestled in a peaceful hillside neighbourhood of Funchal, Caminho do Padre Caldeira offers a quiet retreat with sweeping views over the Atlantic Ocean and Funchal Bay. Though set in a tranquil residential area, the property is just a short drive from the vibrant city centre, where guests can explore local shops, traditional restaurants, and the iconic Mercado dos Lavradores.  
  
The famous Madeira Botanical Garden is also nearby, perfect for a leisurely stroll among exotic plants and breathtaking scenery. For those seeking cultural experiences, the Church of Nossa Senhora do Monte is within reach and can be accessed by the scenic Funchal cable car, which departs from the old town and offers stunning views over the city.  
  
Local cafés and small eateries are scattered throughout the area, offering a taste of authentic Madeiran cuisine. The property’s convenient location also provides quick access to major roadways, making it easy to discover the island’s lush landscapes, coastal lookouts, and renowned hiking trails. Whether you're looking to relax or explore, this is an ideal base for enjoying the best of Funchal and Madeira.  
  
The property is easily accessible by public transport and car.  
  
The nearest bus stop, Papagaio Verde Viaduto, is just a 2-minute walk.  
  
Madeira Airport is a 21-minute drive from the property.  
  
This is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before enter into the property. Check-in can be done from 3 PM, pending availability and confirmation.  
  
Once a reservation is confirmed, guests are requested to complete a guest registration form following the legal obligations stipulated by local authorities in Portugal.  
  
There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at minimum.  
  
Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€.  
  
For the first days, we provide the basic amenities: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag.  
  
Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay).  
Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee.  
Extra Clothing: 30€ (Towels and sheets for 2pax, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
