No coração histórico do Funchal, a Villa Diniz é uma casa senhorial do século XIX que oferece uma serenidade rara no cenário mais emblemático da cidade. Foi residência do escritor português Júlio Dinis, que aqui concluiu o seu último romance Os Fidalgos da Casa Mourisca. A villa reflete a grandiosidade discreta do património cultural da Madeira.  
  
Cuidadosamente restaurada em 2001, os interiores revelam um equilíbrio elegante de ecletismo clássico. Carácter colonial tropical, requinte Belle Époque e apontamentos orientais integram-se numa estética de herança de luxo. Mais do que uma estadia. A Villa Diniz é uma ligação ao legado literário e arquitetónico da ilha.  
  
Com capacidade para seis hóspedes, dispõe de três quartos distintos. Uma suíte principal ampla com cama king-size, banheira e duche. Um segundo quarto com cama king-size e vista para a cidade histórica. Um terceiro quarto twin em suíte, ideal para crianças ou para acolhimento reservado. Há ainda uma casa de banho completa no corredor e um WC social junto ao pátio.  
  
O seu elemento mais distintivo é o jardim tropical privado. Um oásis escondido, rodeado por vegetação madura e elegância silenciosa. Inclui um raro forno a lenha centenário e um recanto tranquilo para refeições ao ar livre.  
  
No interior, todos os quartos têm climatização. A cozinha está totalmente equipada. Estacionamento seguro pode ser organizado a pedido. Estão também disponíveis serviços premium como chef privado, tours personalizados e transferes.  
  
À entrada encontra-se uma estátua de Júlio Dinis. No interior, uma edição rara do seu último romance presta homenagem à sua vida e obra.

For arrivals after this time, a €32 supplement for night-time coordination applies. This can be settled via the online check-in form or, if not completed in advance, on arrival.

9\. Insects & Wildlife  
This property is located on Madeira Island, known for its lush nature and subtropical climate. Depending on the season, occasional sightings of insects or small wildlife may occur. While regular pest control is in place, a fully insect-free environment cannot be guaranteed. We recommend keeping windows closed, storing food securely, and managing waste appropriately to help maintain comfort.  
  
10\. Tourist Tax  
As part of local requirements, a tourist tax of €2 per person per night (up to 7 nights, for guests aged 13 and above) will be collected during check-in via the registration form. This contribution is forwarded directly to the municipality.
