5/5 Excellent
Comfortable and friendly hotel
"Clean, comfortable room with safe. Nice view from balcony. Excellent breakfast, lots of choices and plenty of everything. Super helpful and friendly staff. Our flight was cancelled and we had to book an extra day and they gave us a breakfast box as we had to leave early.
Airport bus stop nearby and area has plenty of dining and bar options. About 25 min walk to centre of Funchal."

"Hotel was very nice. We had a great corner room with large opening windows so felt as though we were outside. Had view of mountains and of the ocean. It was also very large by any standard. It is not ocean front, but that is not so important as there is no beach in Funchal and our room had an ocean view.
Only slightly negative observation was lack of things one usually sees in hotels e.g. no water bottles, no lotion..But that slight defect was overwhelmed by the quality of the room."
