Room was small but lovely. Staff was so helpful and courteous. Found my luggage so quickly. It was like magic how it showed up in our room.

The room was so hot, no air conditioning functioning in the room. Couldn’t sleep even open the window.

It was located in a very busy area. Lots of dining options nearby but the weekends would get too crowded near the area.

The location is the best, exactly in the heart of the city. Regretably I missed the top floor bar. It closed quite early, at 10:30pm!

Stayed in Nishitetsu Solaria Tenjin over 3 separate stay periods. With my out-trips to Huis Ten Bosch and Beppu in between. The staff were very kind and understanding in allowing me to leave certain pcs of my luggage when I checked out for stays elsewhere. They were efficient and even had my luggage I left in the hotel already placed in my room. Staff were able to help me book a taxi to airport. Rooms were rather large, spacious toilet and bathtub. The Bath salts were so good for relief from walking when soaked in the bathtub. Would highly reccomend. I stayed in Tenjin coz let’s face it, it’s where the food and action is. Although people using JR lots do mind there is a need to take a short subway ride back to JR Hakata station.

Hotel with Good Location
Solaria Nishitetsu has been our hotel of choice whenever we visit Fukuoka. It has the best location especially for shopping . Next door is Mitsukoshi, Daimaru and Iwataya. The room is spacious and clean. It has very good view of the mountains in layers , sunrise n sunset. There’s a park and a shrine. From the hotel we can walk to Hakata Canal City and Ganabashi Fish Market. In the evening there are a lot of Yatai.

Hotel is within a shopping mall which makes it easier for us with a 4yo kid. Parking is easy at 1500 yen per night, however there are limited parking spaces. Rooms are clean but a bit small for a family of 3. Overall, a good stay and will definitely recommend it!
