Excellent restaurant with fantastic quality of good. Very comfortable, quiet rooms. Room service available. Hotel also had a shop and coffee shop. Very stylish and comfortable decor. Only thing I didn’t like was the very loud music playing in the communal areas, and the piped music played in the corridors at night, which kept me awake!

다다미방 숙박함. 한국인 직원 상주하고있어서 커뮤니케이션엔 큰 문제 없음. 새벽에 당직서는 직원이 마침 한국분이셔서 관광지 물어보니 지도 펼쳐놓고 관광할만한곳 다알려주심. 방도 깔끔하고 사우나도 깔끔함(투숙객 무료) 역까지 무료 셔틀버스 다님.

Secluded Hotel with Comfortable Bed
Pros: +Staff are very accommodating +Beautiful views +Comfy bed +Large room +Very delicious breakfast buffet +Hotel restaurant Koyomi was very delicious +Extremely comfortable hotel pajamas Neutrals: •Location is relatively secluded. There are 3 bus lines about a 5 minute walk from the hotel, that can get you close to wherever you probably want to go. I chose the location based on where my friends live, but if I were a typical tourist, the location could be a nuisance. •I didn't think the public bath was anything special, but it is still nice to have. Negatives: -The room's carpet had all these bleach spots on it, which kind of weirded me out. -The lack of free outlets in the room. -The bedding had spots on it, and a ball of black lint. I expected more based on the atmosphere the hotel exudes. -The tea/coffee machine wasn't fully cleaned. -I also dislike pod-coffee/tea machines as the one that was in my room as the pods are terrible for the environment. The tea wasn't great quality/taste. (-I vaguely remember being annoyed at the wifi speed and switching to my own wifi.) Based on what I had planned in Fukuoka, the hotel was an overall good fit for me. I would probably stay there again because despite the small issues with the room's cleanliness, I enjoyed my stay there. I do think that there is room for improvment though.

I like the quietness. The hotel is nicely located in a hill further away from tenjin or Hakata but a subway ride awa gets u to those places.

Disappointed with onsen.
Everything is good in the hotel except the onsen. Water not hot enough. Only one hot and one cold. No outdoor. The onsen facilities is a basic 3 stars.

Very disappointing.
Disappointing. I booked this for the spa facilities but it was not clear that tattoos were not permitted in the spa. I would have booked a nicer hotel for the same money. The room was very basic and the only point of staying here was the spa. A waste of money.

Free lending tabret was in the room. It's free for domestic or international call. And I could to take it helpful a lot for search the bus stop or shop when I went to town. It's great service!

The overall service was ok. We get to choose our favourite colour and size of pyjamas while doing an early check in. It was far too early as the check in time was only after 5pm. We went for our town tour and only return around 7pm for dinner in the hotel. The hotel set meal was great and we got a discount because we are guest. When we got to our room pyjamas were not given and we have to call to get them send up. The service was superb fast. We live the hotel as it was very quite and clean. They have nice view up in the room.

Excelent stay with avarage price. City and ocean view at once from restaurant in the morning. I consider this hotel is the best choice for short visitors who want to have a nice experience in Fukuoka.

Needs to be better to be worth the price
Tiny rooms on 1st floor were not worth the price. Onsen was nice but a bit dirty which is never nice in a fancy hotel. Not impressed...

Nice hotel in the city
We arrived at the hotel in the evening - the staff are helpful and the environment is nice and stylish! We stayed in a suite for eight days and, during this period of time, we felt so comfortable and relaxed coz the room is so spacious, tidy and have a perfect view! We strongly recommend this hotel to any people who wants to stay away for awhile from the busy city :)

Japlish is hilarious
Only one staff could speak decent English to give superb service:he was Indonesian,proving that Japan needs to allow more gaijin workers.The other staff gave polite tatami service due poor language ability.But the bowing and scraping was appreciated. The guest services book was in Japlish,and hilarious. The room temperature was too high.We suffered the first night since the controls were only in Japanese.When we asked the desk,we were given to understand the heating was centralized.Our only option was to switch the heater off and open the balcony door ,which we did,compromising our security. We had some excellent meals,Japanese and Western,pointing out our choices from the menu. We had good walks,to the botanic gardens and the zoo. Enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The room is quite small, but with good view of the city. It's convenient if you drive. The staff were very friendly and tried hard to help, however, communication in English was difficult. There were staff speaking Mandarin, but not in Cantonese. Food quality of both Japanese and Western restaurants in the evenings was very good and highly recommended.

Nice hotel and beautiful fukuoka view. Good pubilc bath fitness but quite far from city oly taxi . i took the taxi from the hotel to fukuoka internatioal airport cost 2500 yen.

Great get away in the city
Very nice hotel with great services. Great restaurants too. I only wish our room would have been on a higher floor, where views could have been much better. Also, it was a little too busy with many weddings... Will go back there again and again.

Fantastic hotel and service!!
This hotel exceeded all of our expectations! We did have a hard time finding it as Google maps puts you at the bottom of the hill no where near the actual hotel (by car). After taking a steep set of stairs to confirm we were in fact looking up at the hotel I was greeted by the hotel manager. He did not speak much English but was AMAZING! He ran (literally) down the stairs and then drove our car to the hotel parking lot. Everyone was so kind and helpful. We were seated and served drinks while we were checked in, showed to our rooms and they helped us with directions. I highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be returning to this hotel next time we visit Fukuoka!

Recently renovated and beautiful rooms
The Agora Hilltop Hotel just re-opened after being closed for renovation. It sits on top of a hill overlooking Fukuoka. Although our room did not have much of a view, some of the other parts of the hotel had beautiful views, particularly at night. We stayed in a Japanese-style room. With 4 of us, and the futons laid out, the space was a little tight. But with the hilltop location, the hotel was very quiet at night, so we all slept very well. There is a shuttle bus to the nearest train station. But we had a car, and without that it might have been inconvenient. Because it just re-opened in September 2013, the hotel was not at all full. I hope they do get more guests. We certainly enjoyed our stay.
