Close to JR station, bus , taxi area. Every time I go to Fukui. It’s my first choice. Their free breakfast is very good. The free breakfast had a remarkable selection and is great to have, given that there are limited options open early in the morning. The room was very spacious and clean. Drugstore 10 minutes walk away for essentials and f some foods if needed. Several conveniences stores that are even closer (but more expensive). Many restaurants in walking distance as well as a department store. My room was small but was good enough for solo traveler. Staff is very friendly and speak good enough English to help with what you need. The free breakfast is really good I was surprised at the variety of foods that was there, it’s a buffet style breakfast and I really enjoyed it! Hotel is like a four minute walk to the Fukui Ststion and bus lines. Restaurants and convenient stores close by and the castle ruins is a quick walk. There is a tiny food truck across the way when going to the castle ruins and I would recommend trying the Karaage he sells it was so good and hot the spot. If you love a dinosaur theme this town is for you!
