"old and dirty linens in bed for new guest, stain and hair on duvet and sheets, towels look very old and dirty. water pressure from tap on and off, no shampoo and conditioners in 2 of 3 rooms that we booked. very pleasant stay. for second night we had to forked out $14,400 to stay in Jinhu Hotel. we did not stay in this hostel!"

"老闆是年輕的帥哥，非常有禮貌，服務周到又貼心。 民宿應該是新落成，主人對民宿的規劃與設計很有品味與質感，房間寬敞舒適又乾淨，晚上走出屋外，清風徐來，抬頭可以看到夏天的星空，非常幽靜，一夜好眠。 房間有日本進口的濾掛咖啡，一樓有寬敞的客廳空間，有廚房、冰箱，老闆真得挺大器的。 我租車，從民宿到金城車站，只需約5分鐘，開車到慈湖也只需5分鐘。不過散步探訪附近景點更棒，散步到慈湖畔看落日，一大早、傍晚或晚上散步到附近的湖堤，在沙灘上漫步，看漲潮退潮，看快完工的金門大橋，晚上對岸廈門的燈火如在眼前。 房間比台北四星級商旅舒適寬敞，價格只有一半，真是物超所值。 個人或情侶自由行、或是家庭旅遊，都非常值得推薦！"

Jincheng bus station is a 7 minute navigation through a maze of narrow alleys, so keep your google map handy. You also need to get your agent (eg Expedia) to contact the owner to arrange for free 2-way airport transfer. Overall, a quiet and excellent homestay in a charming, unique island."
