The "old fishery", a historic thatched roof house, with the 3 non-smoking holiday apartments "Kapitänstube", "Heimathafen" and "Fischerkoje" dates in part from the 17th Century and is a listed building. It was completely renovated and modernized in 1997\. The associated “trap house” could not be saved and was rebuilt. Both buildings are provided with a thatched roof, a typical roof covering. The owner of this collector's item has tried to take the history, charm and charisma of this house into consideration, even if this means that some modern achievements are missing. All apartments are comfortably and extensively equipped so that guests can feel at home. The houses are surrounded by a park-like, near-natural garden with old trees and spacious lawns. The property is centrally but quietly located in the center of Bodstedt on the south coast of the Bodden of the same name. Ein großer, schöner Garten, mit altem Baumbestand und richtig viel Platz für die Kinder zum Spielen. Dank des guten Wetters konnten wir uns oft im Garten aufhalten. Abends kann man den Sonnenuntergang am Boddden genießen. Je nach Wind gibt’s mehr Mücken oder keine. Die Wohnung ist nicht besonders groß für eine fünfköpfige Familie, ist aber zweckmäßig eingerichtet und hat fast alles, was man braucht. Das fünfte Bett ist im Wohnzimmer und dient gleichzeitig als Sofa. Für Regenwetter gibt es eine große Auswahl an Gesellschaftsspielen und Büchern. Die Betten & Matratzen waren angenehm, nicht durchgelegen. Nachts ist es sehr still draußen, kein Autolärm etc. ##### Silke G.
