i lost my money around 200Euro during Feb25-27 in room 505, pls check your camera to see if someone enterred my room, since i put the sign of no-clean, technically no one shall come in. pls check your camera. complaint.

Average hotel which over charges for everything.
We booked this hotel on the way back from our family holiday looking at the pictures which looked perfect, but after checking in we were disappointed. The room was really small, without air conditioning, few towels, no place to put luggage and basic amenities. When asked at reception they said the picture we saw on reservation is a deluxe room which costs double. Not ideal to argue at that stage as we went tired. Nights sleep was not good as there was no air conditioning and very cramped smatroom. When opened windows due close proximity to highway there was a lot of noise. Breakfast was very expensive 19 euros per person, which does not make sense. This is very average hotel which overcharges for everything except luckily for internet. Very basic pool which is outside.

Furthermore our family rooms which you saw on our website are only 10,- mor expensive than the standard rooms and children under 16 years are chargefree in their parents room. We thank your for your personal comments regarding the price of breakfast in our hotel. Within the Breakfast you can choose from a selection of breads and rolls, various sausages, cheeses and jams, various hot dishes, fresh fruit, muesli, cereals as well as fruit juices and coffee specialities. This varied and balanced range offers something for every taste. We endeavor to offer the best possible quality at a reasonable price for our international guests. Not a bad pick
Clean and renovated not too long ago so their style is now more on the modern side of things. I liked that the room included a fridge. The area is not so spectacular but it’s located if you arrive by car.

Hotel will be very nice once renovations are done!
Our family (children ages 10 and 12) stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. There were extensive renovations going on at the time. Our room was very small, hot, and visibly worn. I am assuming this will be greatly improved once renovations are complete. The staff was very accommodating though, and once renovations are completed, it will likely be a very good spot to stay!

Good location with convenient links
I chose this hotel because it was much cheaper than the hotels in nuremburg, bus 33 takes you to and from the airport and stops directly outside the hotel, there is an aldi and rewe supermarkets around the corner, transport links excellent, you can get a 178 or 33 bus to furth u bahn station just 5 min ride, furth to central nuremburg takes 20 mins tages ticket(day tickets) are great value and can take you as far as rothenburg , the hotel is clean and has good amenities, staff were very friendly, only cons are the lack of aircon, rooms have fans instead but apart from that I enjoyed my stay here and would definitely book again

Nice business hotel
The duvets on the beds are oddly small, but otherwise everything is clean and comfortable. Furth is a short drive to anything in Nuremberg proper.

Not a 4 star Hotel !!
The Hotel was clean and the staff pleasant and helpful but added costs for parking and excessive charges for breakfast, water, drinks etc. were disappointing. A more correct rating for this Hotel would be a 3 star.

Wouldn't stay here again!
Pictures on Expedia look really nice but the reality is the opposite. The pool is just a dirty oversized bathtub with ice cold water! Hidden fees! Got charged 90% of the booking price when I cancelled the room (made a mistake by booking the hotel twice) even though I called within 30 min of the booking. Staff nice but not knowledgeable! Locked my key in the room and got another one just by asking! Not SAFE! Breakfast was bad!!! Over all experience BAD! Expensive for what you get! Wouldn't come back again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone! (I'm a flight attendant and travel a lot. This place is more like a 1 star hotel and not safe at all)

No air conditioning
It was a hot day and we were looking forward to a cool nights sleep. No such luck. Each room has a fan but no individual air con. Hotel was on the edge of town convenient to freeway and sporting complex otherwise not much in walking distance. Hotel had jacked up its prices to 3x normal due to major trade show in Nurembergburg. We made reservations at least 3 mo in advance. Hotel was sold out. This hotel would be a good value at normal rates but was a poor value at 3x the normal. Asked for help from staff in locating a self service laundry nearby, they sent us to a dry cleaner/ laundry. Something got lost in translation there. We found a laundry by the railway station with a parking space in front for the car using Google. Allow 30 min to get to heart of Nuremburg, 15 min to Nuremburg airport by car.

The hotel is not as fresh as it appears in the pictures. It's fine but basic. Smoking on some floors so that means basically the hotel is a smoking hotel. I switched to another hotel for the same price in Nuremberg that was a solid 4.5 star hotel. This is a solid 3 not a 4.

A very nice experience
We've been at this hotel for one night as it was in our way to home and I realised it is a nice hotel with : - nice room ( double bed and sofa ) very good specially for family with small kids -nice bathroom with a powerful shower -very nice and generous breakfast ( provided in our room ) Etc etc - defenetley we gonna come back next time.

Only a one night stay as we passed through Germany. Great location close to the motorways we wanted. Room was clean and spacious for the three of us. We weren't tempted to pay nearly as much for the breakfast option as we did for the room so headed to Ikea (3 min drive away) for breakfast. Would stay here again.

Quiet, & family-friendly
The family-friendly nature of the hotel was one of the highlights of our trip for our 5-year-old son. There are indoor and outdoor play areas as well as a surprise welcome gift upon check in. Even my infant daughter got a gift. Breakfast was delicious with enough options to satisfy my whole family. The staff was very friendly and spoke great English.

Average hotel - watch for fees.
Was very put off by the fee (9 Euro) for car parking. Hotel was outside city center enough that a pay car park appeared to be unneeded. Ample parking on street avoided this annoyance. Hotel was decent enough- nothing fancy. Did not eat in the restaurant due to the overpriced and limited selection. Took 3 minute drive and had wonderful family meal for price of one entree at hotel restaurant. And I didn't even have to pay to park.

Disappointing....
We've stayed at Mercure's before and we were pretty disappointed with the quality of this particular hotel (especially for a German location in a large city). The rooms desperately needed an upgrade/renovation, as they felt like a cheap US hotel chain (think 2-star U.S. motel). We booked a King room, and got a Queen bed that felt like concrete. The bed had 2 ridiculously small and flat pillows on it, and the sheets were cheap and scratchy (they actually triggered an allergic skin reaction for both my husband and I). There were stains on the carpet, and the bathroom smelled like urine. The room was also incredibly hot, and you had no control over the heat in the room. It also didn't help that we got caught up at check-in with a big tour bus filled with pushy and impolite seniors. The whole thing made for an all round disappointing and negative experience. I must say though, the staff were pleasant and professional, and I must give them credit for that! The breakfast was also pretty good. Overall, this felt more like a 2 star hotel, not a 4 star "Mercure-quality" hotel though, and wouldn't recommend it for couples or singles that are looking for business-class or 4-star accommodations.
