Otherwise, book this apartment which is large and located in a secure gated complex with friendly residents. Pedro cannot control the weather and yes whilst staying it poured down for 3 days but when you have a selection of books, magazines and Television with English Channels it made no difference. There is ample bedding, towels, beach equipment and even a shopping trolley which turned out to be a real godsend. The kitchen is large and well equipped. There is a lift to the front door. Both bedrooms are to the front with sea views and 1 of which has direct access to the balcony. The sun rises and stays on the balcony until approx 1 pm. I imagine that the afternoon shade on the balcony would be very welcome in the height of summer. It was just nice to sit enjoy the view and watch the world go by! A car is not essential as public transport is to hand including the ‘hop on hop off’ Fuengirola street train whose main stop is just to the left of the complex gates. Ice cream parlours, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and shops are literally on your doorstep. Prices are on a par with the UK. We paid anything from 2.40 euros to 4 euros for 2 cups of black coffee and 14 euros to 27 euros for 2 main meals with 1 beer and 1 wine each! The whole experience from time of booking was that of efficiency. ##### Jennifer W. The layout of the apartment has an easy flow to it all rooms are where you would expect to find them. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you would need and all items clean as well as the kitchen. We only used the kitchen for breakfast and the odd lunch all other meals we ate out. There are so many eating places within walking distance that you would never use the same one twice. Pedro the owner kept us informed all the way through the transaction of booking the apartment and answering questions you may have. On arrival his manager met us and showed us around and explained how things work etc. I should say here that normally Pedro would do this himself but it was Easter weekend when we arrived and he had his family visiting and he does not live in Fuengirola. I can assure you his stand in was more than capable. All in all the apartment was home from home not that we used it too much but the TV had enough English channels to keep you occupied (watch the news that was about it). You would have to go along way to match this apartment most certainly we would use it again. If you want to book I would think you need to start looking now for next year as I can't see this property staying idol for long. Great apartment great Host. ##### alan c. The apartment was clean and ideally located to all attractions with excellent WIFI (comment from the kids). The only disappointment was the fact that the swimming pool was out of action whilst we stayed due to the surrounding building maintenance work taking place. This was disappointing as our kids are very keen swimmers. Its central location is very convenient with easy access to the beach, shops and restaurants. The apartment block is very secure with no anti social behaviour or unreasonable noise disturbances. Other occupants we met which were predominantly residential or long term holiday makers, were very friendly along with the maintenance workers in Perla 2. The apartment itself was ideal for us, well maintained and very kindly stocked with many of the basics for us when we arrived. Very peaceful location to sit out on the balcony and take in the beautiful views and observe the hustle and bustle of the street below from a nice distance. The only recommendation I would have for the apartment facilities is that perhaps a replacement travel cot mattress is needed, but that is a very small item when looking at the facilities available in this apartment. One thing that was a minor issue for us was that the lifts were too small to fit a narrow double buggy, I only mention this as it may be something for someone with a large wheelchair or mobility scooter to look into before booking. The owners were fantastic to deal with when booking etc and Pedro who met us on arrival was very helpful and offered his assistance should we need anything however there was no need to even contact him about anything during our stay. ##### Edel C. ### 10/10 – Excellent #### ANGELA B. 16 nov. 2016 #### Fantastic Fuengirola!!!! Great location right in the heart of everything. Wonderfully clean and very well furnished apartment. Very comfortable beds and sofas. Great views from balcony. Very well maintained and if you need anything 'Saint' Pedro is always there with a smile. He was really helpful and made everything run smoothly from satellite tv to taxis.
