Several wks in adv. I made a resv. for us and our gchildren to spend a long weekend. Made the reserv. on Expedia for obvious reasons. I added a comment for a high room and paid for the largest corner suite the hotel offers and of course, non smoking. When we arrived we were put in a suite on the 4th, of 14, floors....we weren't happy about that but, OK, we'll take it. When we walked in the room was so smoky we thought the smoker had just left the room. Upon calling the dest we were told to only other room available was one floor down, we went to check it out only to find it had NO balcony and felt like a tomb. Our wonderful bellman, Patrick, who was as frustrated as we were, was kind and offered up the MOD's name. When we got in touch with him he first told us that....well, when you book on an external site, you don't always get what you request. After a few minutes of conversation he was able to come up with a room on the 6th floor that was a late check out and would take 10 to 15 minutes to clean. Absolutely agreeable to us. 30 minutes later we had still NOT had a call back from the front desk, we called down to find out the room was ready. Sweet Patrick came up with our luggage and c'ked into a perfect corner sute with a view. Room was great, kids had a good time lounging on the sofa bed and watching tv in-between swims, skydiving and indoor kart races.
Hotel stepped up and gave us top floor access for free drinks and goodies. Thank E/S.
Mostly very good. Staff was incredibly friendly and a couple really stood out as helpful, two at the front desk and one server at the bar/grill.
The housekeeping staff was very good, room was clean and restocked with exception of last day when I technically checked out and re-checked into the same room due to a 1-night extension to my stay. I feel that situation could have been communicated better to all involved - I had to ask for room to be re-stocked with towels, etc.

My sisters and I stayed here while in town to watch a frisbee tournament at Toyota Stadium. It was nice to have the extra area in our room to hangout. One of us is a nightowl and the other two are early risers, and the somewhat separate area in the room made it easy for us to share the room. We took a red-eye flight to Dallas and arrived at the hotel at 6:30 am. We were pleasantly surprised that the hotel let us go ahead and check in and enable us to get in a nap before we headed to the games.
Since we booked through expedia, we got a great rate on our room!
This affluent bedroom community offers something for everyone. Shoppers can partake in retail therapy at Frisco's plentiful shops, while sports fans can catch a Major League Soccer match at Pizza Hut Park, home of FC Dallas. Kids will enjoy the Frisco Discovery Center, and everyone can indulge their inner child at the Museum of the American Railroad.
