It was clean. Easy access. The furniture/decor is outdated but we did not care as we only used the apt for sleeping/showering as there is too much to do there! My only suggestion/complaint/recommendation is to change the bed/bed frame. Every time you got in it, turned over or moved at all it would squeak and wake us up. I thought it would be a bit closer to the ferry but it's not a horrible walk. The building is situated on a sort of triangle of land so there's streets on both sides. It wasn't too loud though but it's also not really in what I would consider a residential area. The bed was a bit on the bouncy side so if you have a partner that moves a lot in bed, you might want to consider the twin bed in the living room! The pull out sofa is really a futon so it's more like a full sized bed. It was great to have the fireplace as it was chilly. I did not love the lockbox for the key. If I were the property owner, I would install a keypad deadbolt. Especially since you can't tell if the door is locked or not so it would be really easy to lock yourself out. The patio is really nice and big but also overlooks the street but we liked it so we could store our bikes out there.
