Just minutes from Roche Harbor Resort! Relax in the sunny and bright living room with great natural light to take in natures surroundings or to just relax after a long day of sightseeing. Entertain in the fully equipped kitchen with bar seating and plenty of space for meal prep. Enjoy the expansive deck looking out to Speiden Island with propane BBQ and propane firepit table - the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the San Juan’s. Kittiwake Getaway is very private on nearly an acre and is just minutes from Roche Harbor (heated pool open to Roche Harbor Resort guests and the public, you, for a daily fee paid at the pool- chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/https://www.rocheharbor.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/2024-Pool-Schedule-and-rates-1.pdf,) and Westcott Bay is only 15 minutes from Friday Harbor. \*\*I do provide a ring security camera that covers the driveway, parking area, and entrance to the home.\*\* There is vinyl plank flooring in the great room and bedrooms, and primary bathroom and tile flooring in the hall bathroom and kitchen. There are lots of windows that let in the natural sunlight in the living room. The spacious kitchen has granite countertops and stainless appliances. There is both a traditional Cuisinart coffee maker as well as a Keurig with frother, French press, 4 slice toaster, Vitamix blender, handheld blender, handheld mixer, salad spinner, crock pot, rice maker, large electric griddle and an electric kettle. The dining area has seating for 6 and there is also bar seating for 2\. There is plenty of space to enjoy board games or to work on a puzzle. If you can’t unplug, the home does have a desk, Star Link wireless internet service and offers good cell phone reception. The tv is streaming only with access to Paramount+, Hulu and Disney+, HBO Max, and Peacock. If you use other apps to stream, please be sure to bring your log in information. Kittiwake Getaway offers 3 bedrooms with well-appointed sleeping for 6\. The primary bathroom has a king size bed with an attached ensuite with a large shower surrounded by glass enclosure and is stocked with plush linens, shampoo and conditioner, bath and facial bar soaps and body gel. The same amenities are provided in the other bathroom. There is a king size bed in one of the other bedrooms and a queen size bed in the other. There is also a queen size air mattress available for a 7th guest, provided upon request, which is considered a 4th bed. It can be easily placed in the living room. Kittiwake Getaway does allow up to 7 guests. There is an additional fee for the 7th guest. Please see other listing details. The expansive deck with a peekaboo view of the ocean across to Speiden Island offers a dining table with seating for 6, propane firepit table and propane barbeque grill (1 filled propane bottle for each provided) and is a great place to relax and unwind from a day's adventure, or to enjoy the serenity of the surroundings which include beautiful madrona, fir, and evergreens and abundant wildlife such as deer, eagles, native birds and fox. Kittiwake Getaway is just 1 1/2 miles from Roche Harbor Resort Pool available to Roche Harbor Guests and the public (you) for a daily fee. The setting is very relaxing and quiet. The home is well stocked with most items you might need especially kitchen items. The location worked out well for seeing all of the highlites on San Juan island. The property host is very personable and easy to work with. From the moment we arrived, we felt like it was our home away from home. The layout is fantastic, providing plenty of space and comfort. It was comfortably accessible for my aging parents. The house was impeccably clean and well-stocked with everything we needed for our stay.The location is perfect, with easy access to Roche Harbor and other attractions. On days when we chose to relax at home, we loved sitting on the deck, taking in the stunning views of the bay. The house was clean and very well appointed, with thoughtful touches everywhere that made our stay so comfortable. The house is spacious and nicely decorated, and the beds were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed having breakfast every morning on the large gated patio, which has a peekaboo view of the water but is still very private. Susan is a very responsive and helpful host. Besides being sparkly clean, there were so many touches that made it extra special. The kitchen was stocked with many extras (and had great coffee makers). The beds were super comfy. We have stayed in several VRBO's and this one was the best equipped one we have ever stayed at. From coffee and condiments to spices and pots and pans...everything we needed was there.
