If you are looking for a comfortable, clean room with a private bathroom, look no further. This location is steps away from the delicious restaurants, boutiques, galleries, and parks that Friday Harbor offers. But a street sweeper at 4am everyday was absolutely unnecessary. 7ou cannot have your front windows open at all because of the noise most of the night. The room was so hot and stuffy. No AC. Make sure to bring your own shampoo etc if staying for more than a night. Dust under the bed and makeup on my towels. And the balcony faces the roof. No table and chairs. Very minimal room. No closet to hang clothes. I didn’t realize the rental was above a Chinese food restaurant and after booking I got kind of nervous but needed a place. It was surprisingly not stinky. They have a bunch of those air purifies so I’m sure that helped. It was clean and updated. Us being from Texas I wish there would have been AC but that’s not a thing there. Some actual patio furniture on the patio would have been nice. It was just those folding lawn chairs. There was a room marked laundry room. Maybe it’s just an island situation, but in a town where the sidewalks roll up at 9pm, it would have been nice to be able to watch a movie. We also had an issue getting hot water in the kitchen for washing dishes. I had trouble with the combo locks. It seemed the keypad was sensitive to how/where they were pressed. The room was sparse.
