"Accross the way from a boat harbor, fortunately we had a room facing this side, the back side faces the freeway. We were in bldg. #2 which has no ice makers or other amenities. As other reviewers have mentioned, there is a $10 fee for parking. Room was dated yet large and clean"

"Beautiful hotel. The interior was gorgeous. The terrace was not very private so might not be worth the extra money. Location was very walkable and loved the extras including a choice of pillows. I forgot how nice the buckwheat pillows are - inspired me to order one for home. Their signature scent is lovely - they should think about selling the oil for diffusers. "

"I had a wonderful stay at The Vendue! From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive, making me feel right at home. My room was beautifully decorated, spotless, and very comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made the stay extra special. One of the highlights was the rooftop bar, which offered incredible views and a fun atmosphere in the evenings. The location is perfect as well—right in the heart of Charleston, making it easy to walk to restaurants, shops, and the waterfront. Overall, The Vendue provided the perfect mix of hospitality, comfort, and style. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Charleston!"

"We stayed at the Charleston Place for our anniversary weekend and my wife’s birthday weekend with our 5 month old baby. The service was phenomenal from checking in, valet, assistance with our bags to our room, requesting of a crib, and the cleanliness of our room. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the surrounding areas. We will definitely be back to visit. I’ve already shared this stay with my parents. So hopefully they come to have an enjoyable experience.
