This beautiful country home is just what you need for a secluded get away, yet still within minutes from downtown French Lick. It is truly a retreat.

Fully stocked kitchen, 4 Bedrooms- 2 king beds, 1 Queen, bunk beds and daybed with trundle (twins), 3 full baths, washer/dryer, back yard fire pit, gas grill. Activities in the basement include foosball, 3 arcade games (NBA Jam is 4 player, X-men is 2 player, and Golden Tee for the husband) board games, and a full toy chest for the littles. Things to bring: favorite coffee (keurig and coffee pot available), firewood.

Numerous surrounding attractions, not to mention 30 acres of beautiful property with picturesque views right in the back yard with hiking trails, a stream and cool rock feature at the bottoms. (A second home next door is also used as a short term rental with adjoining property so if you see another guest walking a trail, no worries). Trail is moderate terrain. This home suits a romantic get away couple, family, or large group up to 10 people. ($10.00/person for over 6 guests to account for cleaning costs).

Great Place
House very nice. 15 minute drive to Donald Ross and Pete Dye Golf as well the French Lick and West Baden hotels. Everything was great except no soap in bath rooms???

Family vacation
We stayed here as a stop off to holiday world and it was perfect for our needs. We cooked two meals for 7 adults and had everything we needed. The trail was great and there was a good outside space for throwing a football around. The games inside were fun and helped with bonding time while we were in the house. We enjoyed our stay!

Property was as advertised and very comfortable for our party of 5. Our schedule didn't allow us to explore the property's hiking, firepit & grill, but looked inviting nonetheless. Only comments would be master bath shower needs a really good cleaning. Downstairs shower curtain was discolored. Couple staying downstairs would've like to have a tv in their room.

Peaceful and beautiful
Can’t say enough good things about this house. It is a really great space - plenty of room, a good flow (especially with the fun downstairs area), very clean, and nice all around. The woods and trails are especially amazing! The surrounding area is so peaceful. And the stars at night are unbelievable! We came for the eclipse, but we would come back again just because of how great it is!

So Wonderful!!
This was an absolutely lovely house. It couldn't have been more perfect for our family. It is much larger than it looks from the outside. There were 4 separate bedrooms and three full bathrooms! When you've got 7 adults in the group, that is really a luxury. The beds were large and oh, so comfortable. The place was neat as a pin and well stocked with everything we could possibly need, including lots of toys and books for the toddler in our group. There were trails on the property which some of our younger family members took advantage of and really enjoyed. I just can't say enough positive things about this home or its very nice owner, Allison!

Great property in quiet, wooded location near French Lick
Went for a short break with my wife and kids (11 & 8 yo). The property was as described, plenty of beds for larger groups too. Easy drive to French Lick, Patoka Lake, Marengo Cave, etc. We enjoyed the fire pit every night and took advantage of the ~1 mile hiking trail which goes through the woods on the perimeter of the property. Host communicated well and was really helpful. Overall great property, location and host.

Convenient location just 10 minutes from town, but all the bonuses of nature and peace and quiet. It was great! House very clean. Kids were busy playing games, hiking and enjoyed the firepit every night. Fall foliage was spectacular

Great Boys Golf-House Stay
We really enjoyed our stay - great for 4 golfers who each had their own room while enjoying the outside and indoor common areas (porch, family room, kitchen, etc). House kitchen well stocked - we did a big steak cook-out dinner along with breakfast every morning - plenty of dishes and cookware. Modern updates in kitchen made cooking and clean-up a breeze. Great room with large-screen TV was great (but be sure to bring your smart-TV skills to maximize your experience). HVAC easy to adjust and kept the house at optimal temperatures. Super-quiet area. Location optimal for area - very good access to French Lick, golf courses and casino in area. Conclusion: Highly recommend - a lot of work has gone into creating a great VRBO rental property and understanding what travelers need in a VRBO rental for an enjoyable experience.

We planned to see the meteor shower and weren’t disappointed. The property is beautiful, it’s own hiking trail and fire pit are great bonuses. So close to so many activities. comfortable, nicely updated, and decorated.

A great place close to French Lick
The house is just as described and comfortably held 10 people (5 moms and 5 daughters). On our second day there the weather turned and we were under a tornado warning. Allison reached out to make sure we were ok and to see if we needed something - which we did because the power went out. They had a generator that was easy to utilize and was able to run everything in the house (not just a few things - everything). Allison promptly answered all questions we had with the surprise power outage. The house itself is really comfortable, decorated nicely, and the trails were fun to explore. We had everything we needed for our stay. Thanks Allison - you have a beautiful house.

This was a few days for me& my 3 siblings, brother in-law & sister in-law to spend time with my 93 year old father. The house was great because we could take Dad in on the main level without steps. The place met our needs very well. We loved the kitchen- we cooked a lot - we did have some trouble with sticking in pans. The beds were very comfortable! We watched a lot of movies 🎥 🍿 during our stay. Overall comfortable furniture. The only thing I would say needs mentioned in add is that the steepness of the path to the creek and ledge. We did have several who couldn’t take the path due to knees. We did love ❤️ our little fox 🦊 friend. Saw her at least daily if not 2 times. Did not see any deer 🦌 though. Nice distance from town and we really enjoyed the place. Thank you so much for allowing us to spend time together and make more memories!

The Perfect Secluded Retreat
This property was ideal for our “Over 70 Girl’s Trip”. We had a chance to sit around the very large kitchen island just to sip wine and chat, drink our coffee on the large comfortable porch, (which overlooked the woods and listened to the birds), it was great to have three bathrooms for three women, and the large master bedroom en suite with the extra large showerhead was a treat. The rooms are good size and there’s plenty of space downstairs to play cards or grill on the patio. Allison was quick to respond to my many messages and questions and she was a joy to work with, and followed up to see how her trip was. Thanks, Allison!!!

Wonderful stay
We came to the area to ski but ended up finding plenty to do in the nearby towns since there was no snow to ski on. The property was great! The house was plenty big for 4 adults and 3 children. It was clean with plenty of beds and bathrooms. We also enjoyed a few toys in the basement, walking the trail when it wasn’t too muddy and the large fire pit area. The walking trails around the nearby dam and part of Lake Patoka are very nice as well.
