Très cher pour ce genre d’hôtel
Accueil très désagréable. L’hôtel était vide et il nous ont donné la chambre la plus éloignée de la plage, à l’entrée de l’accueil. Pas de négociation possible. La chambre était SALE, moustiques écrasé sur les rideaux avec du sang. Baignoire craseuse... Petit coup de geule pour le personnel de l’accueil pas du tout accueillant et qui font toujours la geule. Merci à Crystal pour les activités nautiques et pour son sourir. Je ne reviendrai JAMAIS.

No wifi in the room, and room is very smelly
el Wifi no llega a las habitaciones...hoy en día increíble. La sala común para trabajar es un cuarto con una mesa y una silla, ya está. El gimnasio ha visto sus mejores momentos hace años. Lo peor: la habitación huele muy mal, incluso mi maleta y ropa huele tan mal ahora, que al cambiar de hotel, tenía que lavar todo. La cama muy incómoda, se nota cada muelle.

Paradiesische Lage, völlig veraltet
Das Hotel liegt an einem wunderschönen Strand. Der Pool ist super und die Grottobar auch. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit. Aber... Das Hotel ist sehr veraltet. Ausserdem versuchen sie einem Timesharing aufzuschwatzen. Alles Kostet extra. Beachhandtuch 10$ kaution, Schlüsselkarte 20$, eine Fahrt zum Hafen 8$. Alles in dem Hotel ist ab 18.00 uhr geschlossen. Nicht mal Wasser oder so kann gekauft werden!

When we got there the room wasn’t ready;however, the front desk service clerk was very nice and accommodating. She didn’t everything within her power to get us to our room within an hour. The room I stayed in AC was leaking so we had to change rooms in the middle of the night; however, they did allow us a late checkout to compensate.

The location next to a gorgeous beach was great, the property itself was extremely dated. The most disappointing element of the stay was the poor concierge. The woman running the desk was very unhelpful and unknowledgeable about local excursions, bike rentals etc. and No WiFi in the room! Ughh

We wish to inform you that this issue has been brought to the attention of the General Manager and is being addressed in order to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future with the Tour Desk. The Resort offers free WiFi in the Lobby and other public areas; however, it is not offered in the rooms. Once again accept our sincere apologies.

The pool and slide are awesome but the floor of the pool made it look dirty. Didnt like the tv was static could hardly view and internet service only at restaurant and around pool and lobby and also internet is really slow so people can’t do important work over internet in a timely fashion. Really important to get faster internet and available in rooms for me to come back to resort. Worst RCI resort i have ever been to. If they would update property would be awesome place.

Love this resort! Its a real taste of the Bahamas with the comforts of home. The pool, swim up bar, beach and restaurant are wonderful! A few challenges, for example the collection of kitchen utensils/cookware was random and made cooking a bit of a challenge. But once we asked it was handled quickly by very kind staff. I highly recommend this property!!

I thought this resort was amazing! However, many of the amenities were closed (water sports, ferry) and closed early (6:00 pm). But the staff was so amazing and friendly the entire time!

The room i was given was very much less clean than expected, floors were really dirty and smelly (poop smell) fridge was not working made us lose all our grocery food shopping which was very expansive,at the beginning there was not towel service until we asked, then after everything was better 3rd day

I aish i knew restaurant and bars were not open except friday and Saturday. Even on those days it was open the hours it said it would be. I went to breakfast Friday at 1020 and they were not serving it anymore. I Lso found out after i was supposed to get a gallon of drinking water which i never got. I think the slide, bar, and restaurant should be open past 6. At least untill 8pm if not later. I did like the lounges and tables on the beach and the hammock by the pool. I also had mosquitoes flying around in my room. Alfie is the best bartender!

Island still shows alot of storm damage. It will be a while be fore they fully recover. Resort has went out of there way to keep us comfortable. Great place.

This is a clean and lovely property with friendly staff. The lack on internet in the rooms made it challenging to conduct work. During the winter months and in light of no direct flights bringing tourists to the islands currently, the restaurant is closed so there are no options for food or drink (or water) within walking distance. (Tap water on the island has a high saline content.)

Negatives...Lots of repairs needed on roof and some other outside areas. Rooms are in need of upgrading. Mosquitoes in evening were voracious. Would have preferred Bahamian music in restaurant. Positives....friendly staff....especially Lilly in restaurant. Great restaurant food. Great beach. Spacious, well designed rooms. These outweigh any negatives.

Could be realky nice place still fixing up from previous hurricane. Pool excellent. But water slide closes at 4:30 eastern time so kids dont have use of it and the water from slide makes the lazy river flow so no slide no lazy river at 4:30 pm cave bar closes at 6pm so no drinks of any kind. So after bar and slide closes not a lot to do.

The pool area especially the swim up bar is very nice. They don’t clean/tidy up the room when you stay there, there’s an extra fee to request for that. It’s kinda odd if you want new towels in the room, you have to go up to the laundry/housekeeping place and ask for new towels but before you can do that, you have to bring the old ones from your room.

The pool is the jewel of this property as well as the clean white sand beach which they rake every morning. I was able to check in early, which I really appreciated, and book several excursions right at the property.

Staff were friendly, the grounds were beautiful and we loved the lazy river. The room had everything we needed and housekeeping was awesome. Valentine took very good care of us (you are the man! Thanks.) The ferry and grocery shuttle were very well priced and we used the ferry frequently.Our first 2 weeks were great. On the last week the spring breakers started to arrive and that wasn't so great ; loud cussing, doors slamming/ yelling between midnight and 3am. If you're there with kids and don't want them exposed to thong bikini's (whether girls looked good in them or not) or are an older couple just looking to relax I would avoid the last 3 weeks of March and first 2 weeks of April.

Great pool!
I visited this resort on an excursion and LOVED the pool area. Fun water slide, grotto bar, sun lounge in the pool, lazy river, friendly people. My husband & I stayed at the resort (Marlin timeshare) and although we had a great time, there are several things they could do better. Because it was a slow time at the resort, many activities and hours were not kept. My husband was really excited for the Thursday night bonfire that did not occur. This is nearly free for the resort and would have brought the guest out to enjoy. They did have the scheduled Sunday night bonfire (advertised as Thursday & Sunday nights) but we were on a flight home:( They listed activities (also on a chalkboard) that did not occur and had activities that were not listed. If guests want to participate they need to know what's planned. My husband & I joined an unannounced poolside bingo game and really enjoyed it. The gift shop across the street (Flamingo hotel) was supposed to open at 8am per the room info card but did not open until noon while we were there. Generally not an issue but this was the only place on property to get water, soft drinks, and snacks besides the bar or restaurant. Offering water and/or coffee in the lobby before/after these hours would have been really nice. There are no vending machines to get a beverage if the hotel areas aren't open. We had some great meals at the resort restaurant but that seems to depend on the staff for that meal.

BUT... Beds and restuarant need improvements. Bring cash as they don't charge to your room. I was here during their "off season" and if you like nothing but R&R you'll be fine otherwise you are going to be bored senseless.

Vi bodde i ett familjerum högst upp på the Marlin med utsikt över poolen. Rummet var toppen och hela hotellet var fint. Ett litet minus var att man måste ha med sig mycket cash, går inte att betala med kort under 20 USD. Närmaste bankomat är väldigt långt bort om man inte har bil. Restaurangen var helt OK, lite trist att det inte finns fler i närheten. Vi rekommenderar hotellet varmt!

Hotel did not honor purchase of one-bedroom condo
I paid for a one-bedroom condo for myself, husband and two minor children (ages 11 and 12). When I arrived instead we were given two studio condos that were separated. That meant that Either my husband and I had to stay separately or have two minor children sleep unsupervised. As we paid alot of money to be a family, one family member slept on the tile floor, one slept on the couch and two in bed. Each day we asked for our one-bedroom condo which we finally received on day 5 of our 7 day trip. The resort has refused to provide a refund or any voucher. I cannot recommend this resort since they will not honor the reservation nor provide any refund or voucher.

Nice, but you serve yourself
Checked in at 11 PM. We couldn't even get a drink. There are no soft drink machines. Had to wait until the next day to walk across the street to the sister hotel to get some drinks and snacks. To our surprise that store was closed on Sunday. Everyone was very friendly. Restaurant doesn't open until 8 AM. We had to be somewhere at 8:30. That was problematic. OK place, just be prepared to fend for yourself a bit.
