(199 reviews) Overall the staff was great, especially the staff at the pool bar. We had no issues with the resort. The onsite dinner restaurant food was OK but nothing exciting but for the price we did not expect a 5 star restaurant. The pool side bar served food pretty much all day and the food there was excellent. It was just bar food but everything was very good. We did not rent a car. Taxis are expensive if you want to get around but our plan was to relax and enjoy the weather so we only left the resort once. It was a very relaxing vacation. If you want a lot of things to do, probably not the best place to go but if you want to relax, book it now. (527 reviews) The room was nice and clean. The hotel definitely is understaffed. The food was mediocre and the nice restaurant was not even open the whole time we were there. The staff were a little rude but they are overworked so that could be part of it. I probably wouldn't go back there but if you like to be secluded it is a great place because the closest places to visit are about 25 minutes to an hour away.
