We took the kids to visit Enchanted Rock for spring break. ( We make this trip every year!) The whiskey Ginger was just a short 20 minute drive from there into beautiful downtown Fredericksburg, where we love to spend the day walking the downtown area with so much to do and see! The house was easy to find and included everything you could need for your stay! The kids absolutely loved the outdoor area and fire pit for s'mores! The rooms are very comfortable and clean! Communication could be improved on. I sent a question upon booking and never received a response back. At day of booking, I didn’t receive check in instructions and had to message the host. I received a response back after reaching out for instructions but never regarding my question sent before. There was no hot water, so some did not want to shower. For the price we paid, I would expect everything to be working perfectly otherwise provide a credit for the inconvenience. I reached out to the host about the water and he said he would have maintenance look into it, that doesn’t help me post stay. I don’t think I would not stay at this one again.
