We had deer all around the property, both day and night. Birds everywhere (we brought our own seed that they found right away). The house had everything you could ask for/utilize and was very clean when we arrived. The beds were great, along with sheets and pillows. There is a great little kitchen nook surrounded by bay windows where you can watch the wildlife while enjoying your meal. Every morning we made coffee and sat on the porch watching the sunrise while the wildlife was all around us. It was a great place to get away and just relax honestly. The hot tub was clean and in great shape along with all of the appliances. I would rate this property a 10/10 and can guarantee that my wife and I will be back, most likely sooner than later. The location is great. You feel like you're in the country, but close to all Fredricksburg has to offer. We stayed for two nights, and wish it could have been longer. We saw at least 10 deer on the property during our stay. The home was completely stocked with whatever you needed, from toiletries to ice cream to a high chair, it had it all!
