The cabin was very clean with a rustic farmhouse feel and look to it. Very little traffic noise and it had an isolated feeling that we were looking for. The hot tub was perfect to look at the stars and satellites in the night sky or to watch the sunrise . I will say, if you plan to cook for your spouse; bring what kitchenware you may need. I found myself in a small predicament as I had planned to cook my wife a gourmet dinner. I made do with what the kitchen was furnished with and I was able to cook my wife an amazing meal. There are a few small pots/pans, and a few cooking utensils. Bring a cutting board, kitchen knives or other utensils you may need if you plan to cook for your spouse. Be sure to bring any food storage containers as well. The fridge is a small mini fridge, but we also had an ice chest full of ice to keep things cooled. The kitchen has a nice stove to cook on, and there is also an oven for bake goods . I’m not a Keurig user. And I usually bring my own coffee pot but I forgot it on this trip. I was still able to figure out a way to make some cowboy coffee for my wife and I. The bed was comfy and cozy with a soft mattress and we slept fine. Aside from the lack of kitchen supplies and food storage, everything was amazing. The host was very friendly and was quick to respond to emails. We would definitely stay here again and will likely do so in the near future. ##### STACEY A. The high ceilings made it feel so much bigger and it was charming and cozy. You would think that my husband and I would get a little stir crazy staying that long in a small space, but we never did. We enjoyed our quick trips to Fredericksburg and surrounding small towns. The highlight was viewing the night sky from the hot tub every night. Our host was the best and quickly resolved an a/c issue that occurred. They continued to follow up to make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. 5 stars all the way! Enjoyed Trades Day, had an awesome steak dinner at Crossroads Steakhouse, cooked breakfast at the cottage, and absolutely LOVED the hot tub!!! Looking forward to coming back!!!
