The off-street private parking is an outstanding bonus in a town notoriously tough to find parking during the weekend. The host is accommodating and communicative. There’s copious opportunities to be drinking while wandering the town, so it’s nice to be able to do so on foot. It’s also convenient to have the peace of mind of a parking spot just for you, as this is a popular town. We enjoyed not having to hunt or battle for a parking spot. This unit is magically both right in the most happening area and yet super quiet. We heard no noise from the shop below. I initially booked this place because I wanted to be able to do some laundry while I was there. If you need laundry, you’ll notice this is one of the only rentals around that offers it. The coffee was great! The icemaker in the freezer was full of ice. The flight of stairs to the front door was a bit if a hike for us 75 year olds but not too bad...unless you forget something in your car and have to go back down to get it! The bed and pilows were really comfortable. The curtains were very sheer so they did keep out as much light as we would have liked. We like it dark at night. There was also more surrounding noise at night than we thought there would be. On balance the place was very nice but probably a little overpriced for what you get compared with other rentals we have stayed at.
