The cows are friendly and the deer are beautiful but please leave them alone and just use your eyes! \- Fireworks are not allowed. \- In the event that you need to use the hard key, please place it back in the lockbox before departing. Failure to return any keys used to the lockbox will result in a $50 replacement fee per key. \- This is a dark sky community. Please be sure to shut off any lights when they are not in use. A Dark Sky Community is a designated area that takes measures to reduce light pollution, preserving the natural night sky for the benefit of both people and wildlife. Pool and Hot tub rules: \- Please note this property has an unsupervised water feature. There is no lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk. \- Cowboy pool is not heated. \- Please no glass in the cowboy pool and spa area. Fees may apply. \- Please do not leave children unattended in the pool, hot tub or wandering around the property. HVAC Rules: Please do not set the home's thermostat above 76 (heating) or below 68 (cooling). To avoid overloading the system, please adjust the thermostat by no more than 2 degrees per hour and keep the doors and windows closed as much as possible. Please note that this is a rural property out in the Texas Hill Country, where it's common to encounter wildlife such as birds, reptiles, deer, and other local fauna. The property was stunning and peaceful. I stayed here with a group of friends/family and everyone had a great time - both the cowboy pool and hot tub were very nice too. The host was great and answered any questions I had leading up to our stay, during, and also when we were checking out. It's about a 25-30 minute drive from the center of fredericksburg.
