The safety of our guests and team members is our #1 priority during this pandemic. While you are visiting Fredericksburg we encourage all of our guests to wear face masks and social distance while you are shopping and at restaurants. We are taking the following steps: 1\. The CDC has said that Covid-19 can live on some surfaces up to 3 days. Therefore, we plan to block off 3 days between bookings. 2\. Even though the CDC does not have any evidence that the virus can live in water we are continuing to shock our hot tubs after each stay. 3\. We are continuing our normal deep cleaning of the homes in between stays with added attention to high touch areas like door knobs, remotes, light switches, etc. 4\. As a final step, we are using an approved sterilizing product on all surfaces, including coffee tables, couches, chairs, etc. Fredericksburg Guest House Reservations Willkommen to our Historic Tin Sunday House. Built in the late 1800's, our Guesthouse has old country charm with modern amenities. The Guesthouse is on a secluded 3/4 of an acre on Baron's Creek in the Heart of Fredericksburg, Texas. It is only 2 1/2 blocks from Main Street, so you can easily walk to the many shops, restaurants, museums, and Herb Farm. Sit on the front or back porch and look at the large Pecan and Cypress trees, or relax in the Hot Tub. The Guesthouse is perfect for a week-long vacation, weekend getaways, writer's retreats or house-hunting visits. The furnishings include several Antique pieces from our family collection. When you sit in the gold chair in the living room, you will be sitting in a chair that President Lyndon B. Johnson sat in when he and Lady Bird frequently visited an aunt and uncle of the owners. The Guesthouse features one bedroom, kitchen, living room, bath with clawfoot tub/hand held shower. After you have had a long relaxing bath, curl up on the sofa and read a book or select a movie for the VCR or DVD. The host is offsite, so you have complete privacy.... The Guesthouse sleeps 2 (King Bed). We offer a complimentary Newspaper (produced weekly), Cable TV, VCR, DVD with streaming services (account not provided), Phone, WiFi, Iron & Ironing Board, Hair Dryer, Refrigerator, Microwave, Coffee Maker, Blender, Toaster, and Dishes for your convenience. The Guesthouse has central heat & air. A private Hot Tub is located off of the back porch. 10%off coupon to Texas Vineyards & Beyond Wine store. Price discounts during the week. This is the cutest little charming cottage within walking distance to Main. The bed was comfy. Loved taking baths in the old clawfoot tub! The deer in the yard are the cherry on top along with the hot tub. While in the hot tub, a deer came within 4-5 ft from us. We were here 4 nights 5 days so we had several clothes, there was not a place to hang them or a place to put them in. The furniture in the den is limited to one antique couch, which is pretty but not functional for relaxing and watching TV. The front and back porch are awesome for sitting on and watching the deer however the mosquitoes were horrible so bring off or somtheing to repel them. All these are minor things.
