Summary: Welcome to Merritt's Ridge, a private and luxuriously picturesque 2 cabin combo with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. This 23-acre estate is located near Fredericksburg and Luckenbach, and is located less than 1 mile from Alamo Springs Burger Cafe and Old Tunnel State Park! There is nothing better than relaxing with friends and family at this beautiful property while listening to the birds sing and watching the sunset over the horizon while sitting in the hot tub and drinking your favorite beverage! The Space: When the final yellows, oranges, and reds of the sunset have faded, you will have a decision to make. Do you hit Historic Downtown Fredericksburg for some fun and winery hopping, or do you hit Luckenbach and enjoy the live music and dancing? Or, do you choose to sit around the fire pit with a glass of wine, or settle into the hot tub while you watch ten thousand stars wake up one by one? On the other hand, why limit yourself? Our suggestion is to do them all, over the course of your stay! \-Please be cautious and aware of wildlife while driving at night in our area. Guest Access: ✅ This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $1000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $59.99 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $1.5 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional. To make this process easy for you, we use a secure and very simple, app-free platform. It is not an app, and you do not have to sign up for an account - it’s a safe and secure website. It also gives you a guest portal with all the info about the home and all of my favorite local spots. The Neighborhood: A true Hill Country oasis that spans 23 acres with stunning views. Located near Alamo Springs Burger Cafe and Old Tunnel State park where you can watch the bats! Getting Around: Walking, Biking, Uber, Car Other Things to Note: Thank you for choosing Stay Texas! Important details for your upcoming stay: 1\. Check-in instructions, house rules, and property addresses will be available via email. 2\. Not all homes have cable; consider setting up a streaming account in advance. 3\. Our team is committed to assisting you, though occasional check-in delays may occur during peak periods. 4\. WiFi is available in all homes, but uninterrupted service is not guaranteed. No refunds or rate adjustments will be made for mechanical failures, or discontinued or interrupted services that occur during your stay. 5\. A $500 fine will be imposed for any evidence of smoking, confetti, vomit residues, or glitter. 6\. It was fantastic for our group of four couples. The beds are great, linens are great the porches are fantastic! There was enough room for everyone to be comfortable and to eat, drink and laugh. The property is very beautiful and there is no one nearby. . Takes a bit to get to Fburg because you are off the beaten path but is close to Luckenbach. Would love to stay here again! ##### Rand C. We used both homes on the property and loved everything about it! Gorgeous views from the back deck, enjoying the sunset from the outdoor living area and watching the deer roaming through the back yard. We definitely made use of the fire pit and hot tub at night! The property was beautiful and offered all the comforts of home. The balcony overlooking the ranch provided a gorgeous view…we loved watching the deer graze each morning and evening. The fire pit created the perfect serene vibe for great conversation under the stars.The hot tub was nice once we got it going, though the seats were a bit deep for our group to fully enjoy. The kitchen was cozy and worked best with about two people moving around at a time. The only real challenge was the entry gate, which gave us a few laughs when someone had to hop over to enter the code from the outside for us to exit the property.
