Location convenient to I 95. Clean. Spacious suite. Bath, bed,shower and sink nice. Roads around property confusing at first. Good stop 1/3 of way on drive to Florida.

The place was clean and quiet. Only thing is they didn’t have an indoor pool like it says online but other than that excellent!

We needed a pet friendly hotel close to rt 95 and Homewood was perfect. Will definitely stay there again.

Great if you have littles & make dinner
We rented a room with a kitchen. The kitchen was okay as far as being stocked. There were 3 of us and only 2 forks and about 10 spoons. The toilet handle was broken but everything else was great. Comfortable beds, sofa and chair and plenty of room for our son's pack n play.

Spacious - Free breakfast - Next to Wegmans
We only stayed one night passing through but we typically used to stay at another hotel in another part of Fredericksburg. This by far is better, newer and roomier. I loved the location and being next to Wegmans is a major plus. Free hot breakfast was pretty good to however would had liked more choices than egg patty and potato mixture. Normally places have at least Waffles. Might had been because we stayed a Thursday night, I'm not sure. But all in all this is now my go to place when traveling through there.

I absolutely loved all the amenities. The pool was so nice. And so peaceful. We loved our room. So spacious. But we we didn’t like was the smell in the halls on the second floor. We would walk out of our room heading to the elevator and oh my gosh that smell was horrible. Whenever we got on elevator and got off on first floor it didn’t smell like that but that second floor hallway stunk greatly. It about made you sick at times. Thank God our room didn’t smell that way.

my family and I enjoyed our stay at this location. I believe we have found a place to stay when we are on vacation in this area. Thanks Homewood for your professional staff. You all took great care of us. The only complaint i have is expedia is saying that there is an inside pool and there isnt. Other than that our stay we great we enjoyed the friendly staff and stay!!!!!

Was a really nice hotel. Our room wasn’t ready until a couple hours after check in time but I got the sense that they had a house keeping issue outside of their control. They offered us an upgraded room - which was very nice of them. When we got to the room, it ended up being the same room size we had booked but we were just happy to be in a room, it was fine with us!

Would return!
While the hotel itself was clean, comfortable but average, I would return alone only because the service was exceptional. Service it seems as of late is lacking but they have perfected it here- they greeted me with kindness, they were courteous all while being efficient at their job. It was refreshing! Disappointing experience at the price we paid
The hotel staff were very friendly. However this hotels policies are not accommodating to early travelers. Waited 11/2 hours to check in, after 2:20 arrival. Sign said 3 pm checking, hotel staff said 4. At 3:55, after watching other arrivals check in, I pleaded, and they moved us to a room that was ready. Informed breakfast at 7, said coffee avail able earlier. We were leaving at 6. Had to heat cold coffee in microwave.

The type of room requested sometime cannot be changed. We follow Homewood Standards as far as Breakfast times I am sorry it was not early enough for your group.

The staff was great. Breakfast was great. The only little issues i had was the rrom had a weird smell but i travel with air freshener and that took care of the problem. Also ac in the bed room didnt work as well as the onle in the living area. Aside from that we would stay again. Very convenient location.

Not what we expected
We have stayed at Homewood Suites previously in New England and were always satisfied with the quality of the room, amenities, cleanliness,etc. Not this time. The room was musty and unaired when we arrived, with no a/c or fan/ventilation turned on. We began noticing an unpleasant odor that could have been old cooking smells (from the kitchen) or food that had been burnt. We thought turning on the a/c would improve it but the smell persisted all night. One of us thought it could have been smoke of some kind. The room itself was attractive but the odor interfered with our enjoyment and ability to sleep. Would not stay here again. Told the front desk the next morning. Should have asked to switch rooms immediately.
