When we booked our stay at David Earl’s Shack we joked about the name & what to expect, but this house IS NO shack!! It was our first time to visit the area and this home had everything we needed. It was super clean and well stocked with new kitchen items, plenty of towels and some additional amenities. Check in was easy & the owner reached out soon after our check in to make sure everything was to our liking. we enjoyed relaxing on the big back patio and watching a few deer feeding in the distance. The kids loved the goats coming up to the fence and saying hi. The deer were wandering by all the time as well. It gave the back yard a certain peace. The hot tub is very well maintained and relaxing. The interior of the house is great because the living and dining areas are open. We were thoroughly impressed with this property. The amenities provided were what you find in a first-class hotel. The property was safe, clean and comfortable. There is a pasture adjacent to the backyard and "bessie the cow" stopped by each day to say good morning. In the evening we watched deer in the same pasture.We had no issues with the property.
