The small fenced yard was a great place for our dog. The kitchen had everything that we needed. We enjoyed walking on the property. If you’re looking for a quiet but beautiful cabin to stay in but that is close to the city, this is the place! Only 15mins away from Fredericksburg. The night sky is beautiful out there! We cooked some steaks on the bbq pit and ended the night in the hot tub with a bottle of wine. The owners were only a text away and answered right away when we had any questions. We both thought it was the perfect distance to Fredricksburg. There were a couple of things that disappointed both my husband and I. First, the shower pressure was dismal and the fact that I couldn’t actually use the big beautiful bathtub was a downer. We loved the hotub and used it night and day, but washing up after our daily hikes were not hot tub appropriate. Another thing that was bothersome was the limited amount of k-cups for the keurig. There were only 6 cups, which meant 1 cup of coffee for each of us a day. We picked up groceries for our stay, but since the owner mentioned that coffee was provided, we did not think to bring any. Finally, we were asked to wash our dishes upon check out.
