We have rented short term rentals often, have learned to bring our own supplies, but it would not have been necessary with this house. It had the best stocked kitchen we have ever seen! We all agreed our beds were very comfortable. There was an abundance of bath towels. The backyard has lots of seating areas, and we spent some time there because the weather was balmy. Day time was spent shopping local stores and visiting wineries. We enjoyed the holiday lights in Fredericksburg, Johnson City, and Kerrville on three consecutive nights. With our schedules, we weren't able to be as "put together" as we normally are in our planning. Our first place fell through because of a wedding (I actually had to call multiple times because I never got responses to the emails). BUT THEN.... we found this place. And can I just say, sometimes rejection is PERFECTION!. This house was just perfect for us and for our moms. It an old home that has been painstakinglinly restored AND updated. The character was kept and the new only adds to the charm - updated bathrooms and kitchen. It it cozy in EVERY definition. And the decor...clearly the owner took time to find pieces that fit the house but are also functional. And the bed was one of the most comfortable I've every slept on. Plus, they have some of everything in case you leave something. Bath amenities, fully stocked kitchen (including pots, pans, potholders, etc.), all the things! And the wifi is speedy. Checking in was easy and no question went unanswered (although we didn't have many). It's just a short 5 minute drive from Main Street and we were blessed to find great parking every day - even on Sunday morning! Although there were 4 of us, I think 6 could easily be comfortable with the three bedroom/2 bath home, The dining table seats 6\. The outdoor space is beautiful. Sep 24, 2024 #### Hanging out at LoveBirds Getaway Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: LoveBirds Getaway was very convenient to Fredericksburg Main Street. We walked almost everywhere. The house was clean, comfortable, cool. The backyard was great for "hanging out". The space worked well for 2 couples. Would also be nice for a family with children.
