I agree, the cabin is in an ideal location to visit many places in Northern Michigan. I also agree that we should have left more garbage bags out for you. Kelly, we love that you enjoyed staying at Black Bear Lodge on the Au Sable river. It has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom and sleeps 4. Walk out to the river to cast your rod or set your canoe or kayak on the Headwaters of the Au Sable– known as the Blue Ribbon trout stream. Local wildlife includes coyotes, partridge, squirrels and rabbits.

I'm so glad you had a nice stay overall. I sincerely apologize about the cleaning imperfections you encountered. Our cleaner normally gets very positive reviews. We will work on shifting the floor cleaning product to see it that resolves the issue, since the kitchen linoleum floor is older in this cabin. We appreciate your sincere feedback. The location offers privacy, yet is only a few miles to Grayling or Gaylord, Michigan.  It’s the perfect place to spend a weekend or week.   

There is so much fun to be had on and around The Au Sable River! So good to hear that you were able to take advantage of it. We apologize for the extra tenants. We do our best to prevent indoor bugs. Unfortunately they are crafty little critters and find their way in when it rains. We are glad to know it didn't stop you from enjoying your stay!
