"We had a nice time at the house, but it was not exactly like the pictures showed. The house was clean except for the floors, which we contacted the host with our concerns. The host was quick to respond. The kitchen had all necessities and a nice large picnic-type table for meals. Since drinking tap water was discouraged, there was a water machine/dispenser with a jug below."

The house itself was immaculate, spacious, and beautifully decorated with a cozy, coastal vibe. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed to cook a meal, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The host was also fantastic—super responsive, helpful, and provided a great list of local recommendations.If you're looking for a relaxing getaway where the water is the main event, this is it.-GM"

"This home had a PERFECT floor plan for our family vacation! There was something for all ages of our family members to enjoy. Our teens stayed in the basement bedroom that was conveniently connected to the game room, lounge, and pool area. We only saw them when it was time to eat! LOL!We older folks enjoyed the screened in porch. Everything that was needed to live comfortably was available for our use (even food seasonings and dog shampoo)!We will definitely book again next summer!"

"We stayed here while my son went to summer camp at USNA and enjoyed the peaceful neighborhood. A couple hiccups occurred at the beginning of the trip but Charles was very open to resolving them with open and timely communication. The kids LOVED having the bikes to ride around the neighborhood and the beach is quiet with a lot of rocks for the kids to play on. The park area for the neighborhood has the most beautiful sunrises. We went into DC some to see the sites and it made for an easy drive to the metro station to get into the city. It was so nice to be able to come back to a peaceful cottage after a day in the city. The house is stocked with anything you would need in the kitchen to make for a comfortable stay. Would stay again if the opportunity arises!"

"Absolutely gorgeous setting! We spent every morning (and most evenings) in the Adirondack chairs overlooking the water. The house is impeccable and updated. Initially we felt far from everything but found quaint waterfront restaurants and shops in a Deale and Galesville. Jays Latin food and Corner Grille were great spots too! We will definitely be back!"

"Our kids and grandkids stayed for a couple days and had a wonderful time. Shawn was very helpful and made sure they were aware of all amenities they could enjoy during their stay and offered information and assistance of local things to do.The grandkids especially enjoyed canoeing and fishing from the pier. They all said they had restful sleep and were happy for the cottage to temporarily call home."
