We recommend: AWD, FWD, or 4WD Winter or all-season tires with good tread 2WD or RWD vehicles are not recommended in snowy or icy weather. The driveway is plowed and shoveled to the door. There were a number of issues that the owner needs to address. We were asked to do a walk through and report issues. At first glance everything was fine. We kept finding small issues. Initially we didn’t have enough towels. There were only 3 bath towels for 4 adults. We did find another towel in a closet. There were only 3 dinner plates. The kitchen table wobbled. Blinds broke when we attempted to use them. All these annoying but not too terrible. I would recommend 4 wheel drive all the time. The road approaching the house is full of potholes. It was a mess after rain. We are seniors traveling with our dog. Our dog is never left outside. We are quiet and go out of our way to find a secluded location where our dog can be comfortable. We got a message from the manager telling us that neighbors complained about a barking dog and wanted us to put him in the house because they were entertaining outside. The neighbors are not very close. This was 2:30 in the afternoon. Yes our dog was outside. Yes our dog barked. It was not that long or that close to any neighbor. Every night there were dogs barking all around us late into the night. Then the manager went on about how much they charge for a dog fee. She didn’t know we had a dog??? Yes we reported a dog when we booked. There was no specific dog fee charged but judging by the host fee and the service fee, I’m pretty sure the charge was in there. ##### Lesia B.
