Cullasaja River front Cabin with game room in the Smokey Mountains Franklin NC

This home is nestled away In WNC just 10 miles from the Highlands in NC, surrounded by rhododendrons, mountain laurel and directly on the Cullasaja River. Limited views of the mountains on the property but half a mile down the road they are in an abundance . The living room has comfortable seating along with a electric fireplace and smart TV. There is a game-room with an arcade and a pool table with a play area for children as well as a large den downstairs. Sit on the backporch while listening to the river and watch the fly fishermen bring in the trout. Sit by a nighttime fire down by the river or enjoy our gas fire pit on the back porch. The hot tub is truly the highlight .Our spacious floor plan offers a open kitchen and living room . The kitchen has service for 10 and you will be able to find all you need from a Ninja Blender to a Kurig . Come enjoy our centrally located cabin so close to so many mountain attractions .

What’s nearby:
Located off Highway 74, between Dillsboro and Cherokee. Just a short drive to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and surrounding towns. The cabin is located within Hatchery Supported Trout Waters where fishing is typically closed during the month of March.

This property was very well appointed and very clean. It was a pleasure spending time with my family at this home and there was plenty to explore nearby. This visit was during cold weather. I can’t imagine how nice it would be to be there in the spring or summer. Very accommodating host and hopefully at some point I will return.

Amazing!

We had a great stay here! The place was better than we expected. Everything was clean and we just loved massive deck, firepit, hottub and the stream in the backyard. Nicely decorated & a good location for us. We had fun visiting the waterfalls in the area and did some Gem mining at Cherokee Ruby & Sapphire which was fun for the kids. We will be back!

Beautiful home, great amenities

A wonderful home to spend in the mountains. Lots of attention to detail (providing firewood) and fun amenities (hot tub, arcade, billiards, darts, games, porch bed, etc). My kids loved playing in the river. Jodi was a wonderful host and communicated well.

Wonderful Retreat

This is a great home for a couple or family looking to get away. Beautiful view and access to the river and lots to do inside if the weather isn't great. The house is well stocked and very clean. Shopping and dining are ten minutes away and you can mine or see waterfalls in under 20 minutes. Plenty of fun and adventure for the whole family is just a short drive. The owner is great and easy to communicate with before and during your stay.

Clean river cabin

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was quiet, peaceful, and calming. Our family enjoyed fishing, exploring the river and took advantage of the space in the yard playing backyard football. It was very clean and well maintained. One of the cleanest rentals we’ve ever stayed in. There are so many special touches that makes this cabin feel like home. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Beautiful property w everything you could ask for! Wonderful covered porch, lovely river views, fire pit, fully outfitted game room for the kids and hot tub! And the home was furnished w everything you could possibly need-plenty of towels, blankets, kitchenware, and appliances and so much space for everyone to relax ! Very responsive and helpful owner! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Absolutely gorgeous setting!

Wow! We have rented lots of cabins and this was the best! So clean, comfy, convenient! Jodi was so kind and welcoming! The property is bordered by a river and a creek so sitting on the deck is really nice with the sound of water running over the rocks. Jodi has so many nice extras like well-equipped kitchen, lovely decor, heated towels rack in bath, beach towels for the hot tub and phenomenal game room. I could go on a d we are already planning to return in the summer to tube down the river! Such a beautiful setting! Grandkids had a blast!

Thank you for sharing your home. Your communication was great. When I was concerned about the group of men across the river. I was relieved to hear you were aware and they were a church group. There are so many places to sit and enjoy the nature. The kids loved all the games too. Great location!

Awesome!

Perfect rental for our family of seven. We always stay riverfront when vacationing in the mountains. This place did not disappoint. Plenty of room inside and out. Nice big kitchen for everyone to gather. The outside decks were wonderful with enough comfy chairs for everyone. Lots to do downstairs in the game room if you wanted to but we spent almost all our time outside in the river playing or fishing. Large enough property to be together but escape for a quiet moment if needed. Nice flat yard for cornhole playing and just relaxing. Definitely would go back!

Relaxing Family Fun

This property had it all!! This home allowed our family to feel like we were at home with all the personal touches and coziness inside and out. The home was well stocked with everything needed. Plenty of towels, dishes, spices and entertainment!! Location was great. Only about 15 minutes for groceries, restaurants, gem mining, hiking and water falls. The kids enjoyed playing the river. Although it was too shallow for kayaking they enjoyed tubing a little ways down then could easily walk back through the water. The hottub was a great way to relax in the evening or in the morning. We wanted to escape the FL heat and enjoy quiet calming surroundings of the mountains; and that is just what we did!! Thank you for sharing your home where we created so many memories as a family.

This house was beautiful. We enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect. Jodi was an incredibly attentive host and made sure we had everything we needed. Our 3yr old and 10yr old loved the falls and being on the water. Very relaxing stay.

Home away from home

This house was so clean, comfortable and fun we never wanted to leave. Jodi was great and so was the setting with the bubbling water sounds all around 🙌, We kept meaning to go out to eat but found ourselves playing pool with the downstairs doors open and cooking hot dogs and s’mores over the fire every night.
