The location is close to public transport and easy access to the airport, central railway station and fairground by S-Bahn, a lot of dining choices, a pleasant walking area The staff are helpful, clean and comfortable property

This was our 4th stay, and right now there is ongoing renovation, so I believe that imperfections like burnt-out light bulbs (3 from 6) in the room and a missed towel set are a misunderstanding. Hopefully, after the renovation is finished, everything will come back to perfect condition!

The room very old and dirty, the furniture is old, and bedside light damage, the electrical sockets is separated from its place, and the wire is outside and exposed, and if anyone touches it, he will die.

Not good
Hotel is very dated, carpet is stained, climate control non existant. Kettle is in the room, but no tea, coffee or cups. Water glasses were available, but there was no water. Duvets and pillows were thin and not comfortable. Because the room was so warm (even though the weather was cold) the windows had to be kept open and the street noise is very loud. 2/10.

Fantastic Location. Room is clean and staff very friendly. The only thing which look strange to me I never saw it before: check in @ 15:00 o'clock, if you arrive early you have to pay 15 Euro to get a room even one hour or one hour and half which is strange.

Do not stay here!
This was the worst hotel I have stayed at for quite some time. So bad that my partner and I left after the first night. My main complaint is regarding cleanliness. We found a used condom in the drawer of the room and blood stains and hair on the sheet so we asked for a different room. The second room also had stains and hair on the sheets. The sheets in this hotel are clearly not washed or changed between occupants. When I asked to speak to a manager, the receptionist informed me that the manager will be at the hotel the following morning. But alas, next morning came and the new receptionist informed me that the manager is out of the country and that I can email a general hotel email regarding my complaints and request for refund for the night that I did not stay at the hotel. I never heard back and was never reimbursed. Cleanliness aside, the room is basic and bare- minimum. The hotel is conveniently situated close to the old town. But, I heard a lot of street noise from the room as it is on a busy street. Someone sprayed pepper spray outside the hotel and the effects could be felt in the lobby. This hotel is an embarrassment.

Bad service; When I told the first reception I cannot connect wifi in my room. He (the young guy) just said this is my phone problem. Then I asked the same question to the second reception (the old man). This time he told us it maybe the router issue. But I am very shocked that he did not come up to our floor to restart the router. Instead he asked us to restart the router on our floor. What a bad service!! Also, the room is quite smelly. Looks like we were staying in the toilet. I strongly request travellers please dont consider this hotel

The hotel is in a great location, however, it's extremely outdated and dirty. The carpets in our room were filthy. Stains everywhere. Bathroom smelled of mold. The lobby is tiny and creepy. Nothing good to say about this hotel, except its location.

No frills, but no disappointments
This is a no frills hotel. It’s simple, clean and comfortable. The location can’t be beat. The rooms vary in size and space of room and bathroom. I always opt for this hotel if it’s available and within my budget. It’s basic and the service has got better over the last year and a half.

Location is amazing right next to everything and the Christmas markets are just down the street. However their was a odd stain on my sheet so had to cover it with my towel. Overall the hotel was lovely and was able to turn up the heating in room as it was winter ans outside was snowing

Great location, nice clean room
For the price it’s great. Unfortunately I arrived in town early in the morning and check in isn’t available until 3pm. But I was able to leave my bag at the front desk so that good. Over all it was exactly what I needed for 1 night. Close to shopping and dining, near the metro and clean nice sized room for a good price.

A basic 2* hotel
Expo is a small hotel just off the pedestrianised shopping area in Frankfurt. I stayed there as a late hotel booking for a trade show which meant they were charging an unbelievable €400 for an €80 night room. It has no facilities - no breakfast offered, no bar. Room was a fair size but woodchip wallpaper, a kettle but nothing else needed to make tea coffee (no cup, coffee....), a mini bar that was totally empty. On the plus side the shower room was OK & more modern but sink & toilet were too close.....a basic 2* hotel.

Great place to stay if on a budget. Every floor has its own wifi network, so signal was great. Room was clean, bathroom was clean. Bed was comfortable.
