Well positioned budget hotel
This is a budget hotel, as reflected in the price, but it's clearly in need of a bit of investment. The rather flattering pictures of the rooms belie the rather cramped reality, and some of the furniture and fittings were well past their sell-by date. On the plus side, the hotel is handily placed for the station, which is about 200 metres away, and staff went out of their way to be helpful.

The staff here were top notch. Walking to and from the property was a little unnerving, the area is not great but the security inside the hotel was very good, and I felt safe once I was inside. Very good bread and butter quality living space-everything you need and nothing you don't for a good price.

Worst Hotel Experience ever!
This is the worst hotel ever that I stayed in. It did not have A/c or even a fan in the room. The hotel itself is located in a very shady area with lot of homeless people on the streets. The elevator could not fit more than one person and 2 suitcases. The receptionist told us that we should deposit the key with him every time we step out. It costed me $135 per room per night in June'2023. I was so frustrated that I checked out within 2 hours after booking a room in a nearby Hotel Hilton for $150 per room per night which is a standard classy hotel for just $15 more. Hotel Carlton is not even worth free stay. I lost all the money that I spent in booking 2 rooms for 3 nights, but I still preferred to check out without using it for more than 2 hours.

Hello,We are sorry that our accommodation did not meet your expectations.But we would like to draw your attention to the following:- From our hotel portal you can already see that our hotel has no air conditioning. So you had to pay attention!- There is at least one fan in every room and your room even had both a tower fan and a pedestal fan and even the reception offered you more fans. Therefore, your rating is unfortunately not true.- The elevator also fits four people and your assessment is not correct in this regard either.- Guests are asked to leave their room key at the reception when leaving the hotel, because if the guest loses it or it is stolen, they will have to pay around 150.00 for the loss. Therefore, if you leave the room key at the reception, you are on the safe side, because our reception is staffed 24 hours a day.Nevertheless, we apologize for the inconvenience.

Good value stay close to Frankfurt Hbf but quiet
Stayed at the one next door in the week previously but they'd jacked up prices. Same excellent location, therefore, and similarly nice, helpful bi-lingual Staff.

Watch out!
Hotel service was amazing, everyone was helpful and kind. This is all from the positives I can give. Hotel itself is made for hobbits. If you have a big luggage stay out of this place (you will not make through the corridors!) Rooms are old and nasty. I personally dont think any amount of chlorine could clean it, its just old and needs renewal. The view outside shows the mountains of pigeons poops and cigarettes. (Room 442) For breakfast they serve: Chicken soup from the artificial stock cube and overboiled pasta. Tomato soup same as above but with tomato flavour. Eggs and scrumble eggs. Very poor choice of cold meats. Yellow cheese choice. Bread and oats. Cereals. Liquids (juices from market, water and coffe) Its a no go for me.

It was OK . We heard the elevator every time it went up an down. Small room but it was clean. Great location next to train station and a REWE right across the street for anything you might need.

Location near Frankfurt main train station, stuff is good, their price was good compared to others in nearby The two thing I didn't like their room sound isolation isn't good. And pillow is big but very thin. Also they need to renew their rooms.

Good location but.............
Visiting for an exhibition, well placed for the station and the centre but the area around is awful but no fault of the hotel. Breakfast good and staff helpful. Would not recommend for lone female travellers.

This place was pretty gross. Stains on and holes in the walls. Tiles broken in bathroom. The neighborhood is disgusting, noisy, and crowded with junkies. Won’t be back.

Beautiful hotel great customer service good breakfast and courteous people. The only thing was the areas around there Was full of homeless people , Junkies, smelled like Garbage, garbage cans and garbage all over the place and the floors outside. Such a great hotel, but the surrounding place needs to be cleaned up in that city.
