2-3 stars at most
2-3 star at best. Doorman didn’t help us take our bags up the stairs. Location is far from nice area. Carpets were filthy. No coffee or tea in the room so they have to bring it to you and they charge a huge service fee to do so. Frankfurt is a great city but I won’t come back to this hotel.

Conveniently located right next to a subway station but also easy walking distance from the main train station. Also, everything in the mini-bar was complimentary. And there is a very nice cigar bar downstairs.

Beware!
This is a hotels.com VIP Hotel, which has perks like free upgrades, early check-in.... for gold member, like myself. Unfortunately after getting a confirmation that they would not charge for an upgrade after we checked in, they still went ahead and charged my credit card, even I have expressed my concerns when we checked out , the receptionist lady simply said " I dont know I wasn't here...", "we have nothing to do with hotels.com". I tried emailing the hotel manager and no response at all. Luckily hotels.com reviewed the case and took prompt action to show what true customer service are with their members. will definitely NOT return and make your trip more pleasant by staying elsewhere. Note: The cleaning lady did an excellent job cleaning our room and amazing customer service at the Jimmyz Jazz bar in the basement.

It is located opposite Messe area, at a 5 min tram journey to the centre. Easy parking, quick check in and check out. Quiet, despite being on the main road. Very spacious Comfort Double Room and bathroom. Quality materials and nice decorations throughout. The fridge was filled with free beers and soft drinks – a very pleasant surprise. Excellent breakfast, with a wide range of products. Very attentive and friendly staff.

Truly made our holiday in Frankfurt more memorable and more enjoyable. Staff was courteous, helpful, and very friendly. Room was very spacious and the bathroom quite possibly the nicest we’ve had. Walking the surrounding neighborhoods led to the discovery of several lovely restaurants and bakeries and left us feeling we’d managed to experience a little bit of the true Frankfurt. Would definitely stay here again.

How the other half lives !!
Lovely hotel but pricey for food and drink . If you book room only be aware that the very nice breakfast comes with a hefty price tag of €37 .Perhaps if you are worrying about food and drink prices this lovely hotel is not for you .

Beautiful classic hotel -- a gem!
Loved the beautiful, classical style of this grand hotel. Service and ambiance were top-notch, Only complaint was that the room seemed to be a bit too warm and stuffy, even with the a/c turned all the way down to 18. But the room (Jr Suite) was gorgeous, spacious, very comfortable otherwise.

I stayed for 2 nights and had a good experience. For all the grandeur, it felt very much like a business hotel. I felt like I was the only person on holiday and not in a suit - but having said that, I couldn't fault the lovely staff and my Executive room was very spacious with separate sitting area. The gym is pretty good with a great view - and the location is brilliant for business or pleasure - with a park nearby and shopping centre practically across the road. Room service was good too.

Best location for Intl Conf Centre
Superb location directly across the road from the Festhalle/Messe Exhibition Centre. Good decor and design, clean and feels upmarket. Lovely room and bathroom, can't fault it - APART FROM..... I couldn't get an English speaking channel on the TV, all the English channels listed could not receive a signal and the weather was fine! - this, in my view, for a hotel of this quality that attracts an international clientele is unacceptable in this day and age. The 2nd observation was charging 35 Euro for breakfast. Now, I have stayed in some high end 5* hotels around the world and don't recall ever having to pay that much for b'fast and although the hotel is nice, it doesn't justify that price for b'fast.

Absolutely wonderful stay in this fantastic hotel. Everything was perfect. The service all the time was great. Not a single complaint at all. Very good internet speed (which seems to be tough for hotels in Europe). I will definitely work this hotel into my normal Frankfurt routine. Great location as well. Perfect.

Elegant Europeon Hotel
If you love classic, Europeon style hotels, as I do, where the service is impeccable, then you will love the Grandhotel Hessischer Hof. The hotel is not as grand or stately as some hotels in this category but it has an understated elegance to it. It is located a good walk away from the business/shopping district but it is directly across the street from a very large indoor shopping mall. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant one evening and it was one of the best meals that I have had in a very long time and again, the service was impeccable. I would be remiss if I did not mention a young man named Mark who was working the reception desk several of the nights that we were at the hotel. He went out of his way to help us on several occasions and we really appreciated it...it was obvious that Mark has taken on hotel work as a career and does not view it as just a job. Overall, I would highly recommend a stay at the Grandhotel Hessicher Hof.

I didn't know hotel staff like this still existed- incredibly willing to help,always friendly, and very professional. The hotel is right across the road from the main entrance to the Messe- a more convenient location just doesn't exist if you are in Frankfurt for a fair/exhibition. It's also very close to a shopping mall Rooms are large and clean and my bathroom was absolutely great. The free wifi is good quality The breakfast is very expensive (as is room service), but it really is a fabulous spread
