The rooms are very small no dresser or counter space only 3 single beds and a glass top table next to bed. No mini bar which is why i booked the hotel specifically. it was clean but is well in need of a renovation.

Good hotel near station
Booked Excelsior but check in was next door at Metropol where I stayed. Decent hotel - quiet room, good sheets & towels. Excellent toiletries. Very close to station.

Whenever I arrive in Frankfurt, I use this hotel, as it is very close to the Frankfurt main station and has everything I need for a brief stay. The rooms have been refurbished, and the amenities are excellent. Minibar is free, coffee and cake in the lobby available, and the breakfast is just excellent. Unfortunately they closed the business center, which was always a convenient working space.

Very near to main train station. Only one night stay. Like their free mini bar even though jus two water two juices two cokes. Breakfast is considered not bad for a 3 star hotel. To keep luggage you keep in a room below the recep at your own risk. I would advise you to bring a lock to secure to some permanent racks there.

I made a hotel change via hotels.com to change from 1 adult to 2 adults and sent the hotel an email, I received confirmation from hotels.com that the change was made and there was no additional price change, when I got to the hotel they had no knowledge of this change and said even if he did I did not change the room category and therefore I had to pay 30 Euros extra per night, because the room they had booked me in only had a single bed! I found this highly unfair is specially since when I booked it via hotels.com it was the same price for 1 or 2 adults. If I did not pay the euros they were not giving me a room, couldn’t cancel as hotels.com was in refundable, so I had no choice but to pay.

Receptionist are rude. The double bed with squeaking sound. Light and one of the wall socket is out of order.

A big plus was that the hotel is right next to the Hauptbahnhof. It was clean, the breakfast buffet was decent and priced well, and the minibar items were included! Beer, soda, water and juice! Will make sure I stay here every time I go to Frankfurt.

Definitely not what I expected, but it was convenient being located directly across the street from the main train station in Frankfurt. Breakfast was okay. Would I stay there again, probably not. Was it cheap and a bed ti sleep in, yes. Word of wisdom-dont pay for early check-in. We did and the room was small and dank. When I asked to change rooms, staff was very short with me and acted like I was an ungrateful, spoiled American.

Excellent central location friendly staff but the lady at the reception with check in wasn’t nice or cooperative and needed to be more helpful I hope the management take care of this as I stayed several times before and this could affect the hotel reputation

The location near a transportation hub (train, S-bah, U-bahn and bus) is excellent, but there are several hotels around the main train station. What set this one apart was the free mini-bar in the room and the large breakfast buffet, which was great for the reasonable price of the rooms.

The room shown online was absolutely NOTHING like what we got. The room pictured was modern, spacious and nice looking. Our room was tiny, cramped, not a foot between beds and walls. Decorated in 1980. Pro-location. And yes, 2 beer, Pepsi and waters in mini bar. Cons- instead of a vent for the bathroom there was a hole in the wall between the bedroom and bathroom... yes, a HOLE that was about 6”x4”... in this day an age?? Luckily it was a family only trip. Would have been extremely awkward with friends as it looked INTO THE BATHTUB. Bathtub itself did not seal properly so we had to keep water running to have a bath. The “tea and coffee in the lobby” seemed to be Only first thing in the AM and once gone was not replenished. I would not recommend this hotel.

There is one old and very slow elevator in the hotel, the bathroom light in the room flickered like it was about to go out, and the staff seemed generally disinterested in their guests.

We stayed here to be by the train station. There is a busy night life here and plenty of places to shop and eat. Rooms are small and our bathroom had a smell so we had to keep the door closed. The breakfast buffet was nice and the coffee in the lobby.

Good choice.
Very convenient location, room had everything we needed. There was coffee/tea and cake at the reception when we arrived. Made us feel very welcome. Also to have the free mini bar. Breakfast buffet was great and early! Good value all over all.

Close to rail station. Adequate room. Very poor shower drainage, chipped grouting, old bathroom fixtures - needs up dating. No air-conditioning. No safe in room. Bath not cleaned well & shower curtain clung to body as one showered. Breakfast was great.

Perfect classic style hotel with all the amenities that one may need apart from a kettle, that was quite uncomfortable to us having the fact that every time we visited the lobby area of the property the coffee was always out from early on in the day to the evening (huge groups of guests tend to sit there for hours). Blonde haired receptionist was also great with her professional demeanour. Definitely worth the price.
