Upstairs large master suite with king size bed and private bathroom. Front porch and back patio for grilling and relaxing outdoors, with a fire pit for evenings. Spend your getaway walking or biking the downtown area, relaxing at the beach, and exploring the many local outdoor attractions. Wineries, breweries, the Sleeping Bear national lakeshore, and Platte River are all within 15 minute drive. Many opportunities for golfing within 15 mile drive south to Arcadia, or southeast to Crystal Mountain. When we got there we realized because of a new injury and crutches my husband and i would not be able to use the huge upstIrs suite. Because there is a queen downstairs we used that and the two teen brothers used the suite. They were tickled to have their own bath and huge room with a tv. TV channel choices, the outdoor patio and a functional large kitchen made the stay even better. Neighbors were friendly and waved or spoke to us. It is very close to the lake and ,downtown Frankfort. Since i have a new injury I learned tha handicap bars in the bath would have helped me get in and out of the bath easier.. That would be an important add even for the more elderly. Thanks for the hospitality. I just have one sugfestion. It was really noce tha people left uneaten food like eggs, condiments, beer, soft drinks and Popsicles behind.
