Relax and be inspired by the breathtaking 180° Puget Sound View! A beautiful, serene, island retreat that feels worlds away but only a few miles from the quaint town of Gig Harbor. Soak up views of the Olympics and all of Carr Inlet with delightful sunsets, while drinking a glass of wine at the outdoor fire pit, or while soaking in the hot tub watching eagles soar overhead. Decorated with stunning local Northwest images by renowned photographer and owner. This scenic, private, Mother In Law apartment is the lower level of a residential home with a separate entrance and private patio with fire-chat area, outdoor seating, BBQ grill and 4 person hot tub. The unit accommodates 2 people in their own bedroom or 4 total with additional, pull out sofa-bed with Queen tempurpedic mattress. Luxurious linens, a variety of pillows and blankets are all provided. This beautiful, private space with full bath and kitchen are appointed with stainless steel appliances, washer/dryer, kitchenware, dish and laundry soap, coffee and tea, toilet paper and paper towels and all linens.

180 View Dream
This property is so unbelievably beautiful. The 180 degree view is staggering. You could sit and stare all day long. There are times when wind from the Sound is loud, yet beautiful. And there are times when it is so silent that it seems muffled. Quieter outside than in! And the home is really cute and comfortable. We met the homeowner and she was incredibly kind, and made us definitely want to come back again another time!

Perfect place for a city getaway!
The place does not disappoint. Fox island was the perfect escape from the city for a birthday weekend celebration. The view is absolutely splendid. Despite not having ideal weather for the weekend (March in the PNW…), we still saw a gorgeous sunset, watches eagles right out our window, and soaked up some relaxation in the hot tub. The property itself is very well done. It had all the necessary amenities as well as many extras. We would definitely recommend!

We loved our stay!
The space is thoughtfully designed with every amenity you might need, or just want, like a hot tub on the porch. You can tell how much care Jennell put into creating it and just how much she enjoys sharing it with guests.
The unit is underneath Jennell’s home and you sometimes hear her family walking around but this didn’t bother us in the least as we live in a city and are used to hearing neighbors. The space felt very private with a porch all to ourselves including a hot tub, outdoor sofa, and grill. It felt a bit like a bed and breakfast with way more privacy and a kitchen to ourselves.
The view is stunning and we lucked out with beautiful weather but even if it was a rainy PNW weekend we would have enjoyed sitting on the covered porch and soaking in the hot tub. It truly is a perfect year round getaway.
This was also a refreshing experience after some not so great vrbo rentals. If you’ve been deterred a little from home rentals, you will not regret this one at all. No extra charges or demands from hosts. Just a beautiful space with a host who obviously loves sharing her home.
Definitely book a stay if you’ve been thinking about it!

Sister Weekend Reset
It was a short stay (a couple nights) but very welcomed relaxation with the view, hot tub, and beautiful accommodations. The quiet and peaceful surroundings was just what we needed. Plus Audrey the cat made it perfect.

Quiet and Beautiful Weekend by the Water
This is a very cozy property and the perfect amount of space for a couple. Comfortable bed and couch, good size bathroom with all the necessities, and nice touches: bag stands in the bedroom, slippers to go to and from the hottub, snacks, binoculars, games, etc. The bed was super comfy and bedding even better. The fire table was nice, though we didn't get a ton of use because it was rainy and water leaks in through the deck above. That was not an issue with the deck over the hottub, so we got tons of use out of that. Gorgeous view, even on the rainy days and very quiet and peaceful. One addition I'd recommend is a retractable clothesline for the shower so you can dry bathing suits for easily. Owner is very kind and responsive. We visited Zogs, which was a fun stop for a quick drink. Overall, a wonderful stay and we would definitely visit again!

The house was so clean and cozy. The view stunning. Jennelle was easy to work with and went above to accommodate us. My favorite was the outdoor living room with a cozy fire and a blanket. If you stay watch for the cute, friendly hummingbird who sits in the little tree by the feeder.

Peaceful and Quiet Delight
Our accommodations were wonderful, better than the pictures and descriptions. We had a great time and our host was wonderful. I had a couple items I left behind sent to me even before I returned to my home. I am hoping to stay at this peaceful retreat again.
