Amazing hotel. Everything perfect!
My stay was perfect. What I love the most is the respect and kindness the showed for may pet and for us. Everything was just amazing. I recommend this hotel. We loved our stay.

Excellent breakfast and very friendly service by all the staff. The hotel lacked any evening facilities, ie bar etc. Only a small vending machine in the lobby area. However good value and a nice location.

Excellent situated just on the edge of the centre with parking clean rooms wonderful and helpful staff. We were there during covid restrictions but breakfast was well organised, being ordered night before and brought out on trays.The only thing is maybe more english information on the leaflets in the rooms. Would I book this Hotel again yes Excellent

I got what I paid for with the stay and can't complain in terms of the standards. Staff were okay but not anything special. One of the receptionists had a bit of an attitude problem which I didn't get from anybody else. However, the lady who checked me in was reallylovely and helpful and went through a map of la Rochelle with me which was nice of her. Was a bit confused to see that when I got home the hotel had tried to take two rather large payments, one being nearly 80 euros, from my debit card. I can't imagine why this would be as I pretty much cleaned the room myself before I left and was gone by 10am so I didn't have a late checkout. Luckily as I only use the account for travelling, I had already cleared the account and received a notification when they tried to do this. I won't pursue this with them now but seems a bit dodgy to me. Other than that I can't really complain. The beds were comfortable and the cleaning standards were pretty good.

Good quality for a good price
Good experience in this hotel. Room big, clean and quiet. The location is also convenient. Staff kind and helpful. It’s very easy to reach the center in a 15 min. walk.

Convenient stopover.
Hotel is about 10 to 15 minutes walk to the harbour and the railway station. Ideal for us as we wanted to take the bus to Ile de Re from the station. A very good breakfast spread and has paid secure parking .

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Our hotel is indeed located 15 minutes away, by walking, of the Old Port (1 km), we are at the gates of the historical center. This location provides a quick access to the hotel by car or by train (the station is 10 minutes away by walking), while staying very close of La Rochelle's Old Port. Our breakfast is a continental all-you-can-eat buffet coming at an extra cost of €10.90. This price is justified by a large selection of products, you will find a cold buffet, a hot buffet, hot and cold drinks, all our products are of high quality in order to guarantee you the best experience.

We didn't like the paper cups or plastic stirrers that were provided on the tea tray in the room. The stirrers softened and bent when inserted into hot liquid. Proper cups and teaspoons had to be smuggled into the room from the breakfast bar to provide normality. Only two small cartons of milk were provided each day which is insufficient, we had to keep asking reception for more milk. There were no safety hand rails or anti slip mats provided in the shower. The provision of a small fridge in the rooms would be most useful, particularly in extreme hot weather.

At your arrival date, you can enjoy a courtesy tray where you have tea coffee biscuits milk, sugar and water. This is all free and made for you, as it's free and filled everyday we can't give you 10 portions of wilk everyday. Concerning our cups, regarding to the ecology you have now paper cups which is much more ecological. Thank you for your understanding. The whole team of Kyriad La Rochelle city center.

Nice, clean hotel with friendly staff not too far from the town centre. Limited car parking and wasn’t too sure about the safety aspect of leaving the car parked on the surrounding streets. Staff were helpful in finding a space on site.

Clean and tidy hotel
Clean and tidy hotel staff we're all helpful and very pleasant, room was comfortable just a little small, buffet breakfast was lovely and reasonably priced and only a 15 min walk to the old harbour. We would definitely stay again.

Good stay. Hotel within easy walking distance (15min) from city centre; not much around hotel itself. Parking available at hotel though limited but managed to get street parking too. Clean hotel; friendly staff. Only issue was aircon in our room wasn’t very effective so my husband had trouble sleeping. Asked reception about it who told us it was eyrkimg but compared to aircon in my in laws room it wasn’t great. I managed to sleep well; comfortable beds. Generally good stay

Good value for money
Hotel is within walking distance of La Rochelle. A bus can be taken for part of the distance. The local area was very run down and partly derelict in places but it is away from the town centre. Car park is not secure.

A resort not to be missed...
Town centre shops lie in midst of ancient towers and covered arched pavements with pedestrian zones opening to interesting lively old port and splendid path around and across water to view huge new harbour. With free parking at the hotel, each area of the town can be enjoyed on foot on different days - ports, beaches, towers, churches and gardens and always easy to return to the ammenities of the town and comfort of the hotel each day! Enjoy a varied and relaxing break in La Rochelle.

Good value, but no frills - room a bit on the small side. 15 minute walk from centre of La Rochelle. Parking at a premium in La Rochelle itself - so good to be able to park in or close to the Kyriad.

Near city centre, 15 minutes walk
The staff at the hotel could not do enough for us, the staff were Elodie, Marion, Fanny and Melanie, they were such a hard working team, the company should be proud of, they didn't stop working. the rooms were clean and tidy and the air conditioning worked really well and was quite, the breakfast was very good and the same mentioned staff were always stocking up and as the breakfast didn't finish until 10.30am it was very relaxing, there was four of us and we stayed for a week.

Generally good with a nice room and bathroom and a good breakfast. Air conditioning not working so window had to be opened and mosquitoes got in. A few other maintenance issues.

A Great find in a very interesting visit. Excellent price for what you get. Breakfast was good and well priced. A 20 minute walk to the water and historic sites. Enjoy! BH Vancouver
