La vue depuis le jardin et tout autour du village est magnifique et manger sur la terrasse est un vrai régal. La propriété est substantielle, avec d’énormes pièces, de hauts plafonds avec poutres apparentes, des entrées cintrées, des pierres apparentes et un sol traditionnel ainsi que de nombreux recoins. Cette maison déborde de cachet et est une pièce unique - une vraie sensation d’histoire avec de nombreuses antiquités et caractéristiques originales - une aventure et une merveille à cache-cache! Le jardin est également unique avec un petit coin lecture, un autre coin ombragé avec table et chaises en pierre, une grande terrasse pour manger en plein air, ainsi qu’un espace de bronzage et une piscine avec vue sur les toits. Bien que ce soit une propriété de village, le jardin est totalement privé puisque les maisons situées sur le côté, comme on le voit sur la photo, ne peuvent en fait pas donner sur le jardin (nous avons vérifié!) et en tout état de cause, ils sont inhabités et utilisés par leurs propriétaires italiens pour le week-end de l'été. En raison de la position de la maison, il y a une vue sur les toits .. Les rues de ce petit village sont beaucoup trop étroites pour les voitures et constituent donc un refuge paisible et bon pour les enfants. Les villageois sont très sympathiques et si vous êtes résident pour l'une de leurs nombreuses «soirées villageoises», vous serez invité à les rejoindre pour manger, boire un verre et peut-être danser sur la place. Le rez-de-chaussée comprend une très grande entrée / salle à manger avec portes en arcade menant à une énorme cuisine de style toscan avec une grande table, équipée d'un lave-linge, d'un lave-vaisselle, d'un four, de plaques de cuisson, d'un micro-ondes et d'un barbecue intérieur. La cuisine mène au jardin via une buanderie avec machine à laver. À l'extérieur: Jardin avec divers coins et recoins et petits coins salons Grande terrasse avec vue sur les toits et la vallée avec des montagnes au-delà Piscine (12M - comprenant des marches romaines et un espace jacuzzi à chaque extrémité x 4M). un barbecue Le premier étage comprend 4 chambres doubles et deux chambres à deux lits (qui peuvent toutes deux être transformées en chambres doubles sur demande préalable). Il y a 2 salles de douche et 1 salle de bain. Également à cet étage se trouve une autre salle à manger / salle de style «petit-déjeuner» avec une porte cintrée menant à une partie du jardin. Au premier étage se trouve également un salon confortable avec des canapés, un lecteur CD et un poêle à bois. Il y a des petits endroits à explorer tout autour de la maison Un peu d'emplacement: La propriété est située dans le petit village ancien de Treppignana, sur les hauteurs des collines surplombant la vallée de la Garfagnana. La population de ce village bien entretenu et convivial n’est que de 30 personnes et les voitures ne sont pas autorisées au-delà de la place principale, ce qui garantit la paix et la tranquillité et permet aux enfants de partir en toute sécurité. Les vues depuis le village sont incroyables à chaque tournant en raison de sa position élevée et du clocher, il y a une vue à 360 degrés de l'ensemble de la région - merveilleux! Un paradis pour les marcheurs et les randonneurs, il y a différentes promenades directement depuis le village et les sommets des montagnes sont tous escaladables à pied. Tout ce calme et pourtant à seulement 15 minutes en voiture du bourg de Castelnuovo et à 20 minutes environ de la ville médiévale de Barga, avec leurs différents bars et restaurants. Le magasin / bar le plus proche se trouve à 5 minutes en voiture et vous trouverez un restaurant à 10 minutes. The massive, rustic building was perfect for our family group. When you travel a long way (Canada and Norway) it’s great to be impressed and that we were! Everyone was kind and accommodating to us. It was a very personal experience. We had the pizza chef come to feed us one evening. This is most highly recommended. I got pretty good at driving the road up to the palazzo but I recommend two things: at first, don’t do it in the dark, and be sure to rent a narrow, sturdy vehicle. The rooms are comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped, and the common areas ideal for relaxing together.The outdoor space is a dream: stunning views, a peaceful garden, and a fantastic pool. Our dogs were welcome and happy, and we loved the calm, nature-filled surroundings.Great location for exploring Tuscany, and the hosts were friendly and responsive. It is historic, huge and in a remote location. We have a group of 7 people (4 adults and 3 children) and would have managed to barely see each other for a week given the size of the house. The facilities are perfectly adequate, although a little dated in places. The walk up to the Palazzo is a bit arduous and you should be aware that you are unlikely to be prepared to make this walk several times a day. The location is also not absolutely perfect for excursions. In the end, we limited ourselves to Pisa, Lucca (highly recommended) and the Mediterranean coast on the other side of the mountains. Each was a full-day excursion. Overall, Palazzo Pasquini is therefore highly recommended if you are looking for peace and seclusion. The view from the terrace is simply indescribable and we will remember it for a very long time. Just like Lilly, Dario's incredibly affectionate dog. ##### Sebastian R. The house is great and fitted our needs perfectly. The kitchen is fantastic and we really enjoyed cooking in it. The outdoor area with the pool is a gem and the view from the terrace overlooking the mountain hills is spectacular! A car is a must for shopping, eating out, sightseeing etc. And yes the road up to the house is quite something but clearly manageable. The road is also great for exercise going down hill walking or running and then turning back uphill. Coming from America it was a bit of a shock (especially for my kids) to walk into a home that was built in the 1500’s and feel comfortable, although you could tell it was well maintained and clean but it took them one night to feel at home. The ping pong table was an amazing addition especially since the first floor has very little living area (besides the kitchen), the back terrace was our favorite hang out because the views are worth the 10 minute windy drive up the mountain. We lived outside most of the time. We did take a few day trips (Florence, Lucca, Pisa), but since we loved the surrounding non touristy area so much (esp Barga) we did most of our exploring and eating there. The views are amazing from the house and the village is just so charming and beautiful. We did a lot of day trips here and there (Pisa, Luca, Florence, Castelnuovo di Garfagnana and more) and could have explored so much more if we´d have had the time. Dario and family were lovely and easy to communicate with. They made sure we had everything we needed and are good people. We´ll definitely be staying there again when we return to Toscana. Jesteśmy zachwyceni miejscówką, widokami, basenem, wnętrzami, olbrzymią kuchnią, tarasem, salą bilardową, stołem do tenisa itp. Nie będę się rozpisywać, zainteresowani pobytem-nie zastanawiajcie się. A bit cold for the pool. Tie perille on mutkainen ja toisinaan tie on erittäin kapea. Maisema talon terassilta on henkeäsalpaava, ja aurinko paistaa lähes koko päivän terassille tai alapihalle, missä uima-allas sijaitsee. Talon keittiö on upea, ja mahtavan kokoinen. Siellä ruoan valmistus on helppoa ja keittiössä pystyy ruokaa valmistamaan useampi henkilö kerrallaan.
